Fired 3 Weeks After Reporting Abuse: Prayers for Quick Job Search

In summary, an individual was terminated from their job after reporting abuse in the workplace. It is unclear if legal action is being taken against the company. Support can be shown by sending prayers and offering assistance in the job search. The company has policies in place to prevent such situations, but welcomes feedback for improvement. If in a similar situation, it is important to report the abuse and seek support from specialized organizations.

Hey all,

I need prayers that I will find a job quickly.

I was fired from my old one yesterday. They didn't give me specifics, but it's highly coincidental that it happened 3 weeks after telling HR that my boss smacked me.

Anywhoo, I'm sure they'll fight my unemployment claim, and I have a LOT of bills, so even if they don't, it's not enough to pay the bills. I need to find something quickly. I've already applied at like 6 places, so hopefully something will come out of it.

Thanks muchly!

Praying for you to find a good attorney...and a great job!

Oh Jean, how stinky... Will say prayers for you. I know you haven't been super happy there so I hope this is a blessing in disguise, but still, VERY STINKY!

Hugs,

Annabel

I would file for unemployment and let them fight it and turn them in for the smack also to the labor board. I will send prayers that the right thing comes your way for you.

Sending prayers your way! (Don't forget, you have a whole brigade of shin-kickers here!)
