do you send out thank you cards or anything to your hosts? if so what do you send? just a card via mail or one of those offered by the website online.

I sent a full size thank you card to my hosts. I thank them for inviting me into their home and that I enjoyed meeting their family and friends. Tell them their show was successful etc. Make it about them. I never make it about me. HTH!

Yep - I do the same thing.

I send a thank you card with a 10% coupon off there next purchase through me. I pretty much say the same thing Vanessa does.

I send the Nancy's Thank you postcard. I tell them thank you for hosting a show with me and that I hope they like their products and to let me know if they ever need anything else. I had a daughter of a host tell me that her mom thought it was very special that I took the time to thank her after the party. I always send it after they get their products.

I use a tweaked version of the PP Thank You printed on my own letterhead.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of sending a thank you card by mail?

Sending a thank you card by mail adds a personal touch that can make the recipient feel special. A physical card can be displayed, creating a lasting reminder of your appreciation. Additionally, receiving a card in the mail can evoke positive emotions and strengthen relationships.

What are the advantages of sending a thank you card online?

Online thank you cards are quick and convenient, allowing you to send your message instantly. They can be easily customized with images and designs, and you can reach recipients who may be far away without the delay of postal services. Plus, online cards are often more environmentally friendly.

How do I decide whether to send a mail or online thank you card?

Consider the relationship you have with the recipient and the context of the gift or gesture. For close friends or family, a mailed card may feel more heartfelt. For colleagues or acquaintances, an online card may suffice. Also, think about the recipient's preferences; some may appreciate the traditional touch of a mailed card, while others may prefer the convenience of an online option.

Are there any occasions where one method is preferred over the other?

Yes, certain occasions may lend themselves better to one method. Formal events, such as weddings or significant milestones, often warrant a mailed card to convey sincerity and thoughtfulness. In contrast, casual situations, like thanking a colleague for their help on a project, can be appropriately handled with an online card.

What should I include in my thank you card, regardless of the method?

Regardless of whether you choose mail or online, your thank you card should include a heartfelt message expressing your gratitude. Mention specifically what you are thankful for, share how it made you feel, and, if appropriate, include a personal touch or memory related to the gift or gesture. This makes your message more meaningful and memorable.
