Does anyone send Christmas cards to past hosts/guests? Does Merrill or anywhere sell anything like that?

I sent mine out on Friday. I send them out to all hosts and guests. The guest ones I just buy at the dollar store, usually about 15 cards for a dollar. And the host ones I actually bought at Walgreens they had 3 boxes for 5.99. It was a buy one get two free deal. I also put a coupon for 10% off their next order that expires on the 13th of Dec with a note stating this is the last day to order and get in time for Christmas using the coupon. Hopefully will help with SAT :)

Merrill has a cute snowman card that is blank inside. You can order them in packs of 20 for about $9+, or so. They also have one that is pretty but it is a post card, I believe.

I ordered some from Vista Print for free.

This is a great idea, I never thought about sending christmas cards... I dont have many contacts, but I think I will do it anyhow!

I made postcards on vista as well. Postage is alot but I still wanted to do something so I opted for the postcard.

I ordered the cute snowman ones from Merrill and am sending those out. Not to everyone, but to my really good hosts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I send Christmas cards to past hosts and guests?

Sending Christmas cards to past hosts and guests is a thoughtful way to show appreciation for their support. It helps maintain relationships, encourages repeat business, and keeps you top of mind during the holiday season when they may be looking for gifts or hosting opportunities.

What should I include in the Christmas card?

In your Christmas card, include a personal message expressing your gratitude for their past support, a warm holiday greeting, and an invitation to connect in the new year. You might also consider including a special offer or promotion for the upcoming year to encourage future bookings.

Is it better to send handwritten cards or printed cards?

Handwritten cards tend to feel more personal and meaningful, which can strengthen your relationship with past hosts and guests. However, if time is a constraint, printed cards with a personal note can still convey your appreciation effectively. Aim for a balance that reflects your style and the relationship you have with your recipients.

When is the best time to send Christmas cards?

The best time to send Christmas cards is typically in early to mid-December. This timing ensures that your cards arrive before the holiday rush and allows your recipients to enjoy your thoughtful gesture during the festive season.

Can I include promotional materials in the Christmas card?

While it's important to keep the primary focus on the holiday greeting, including a small promotional flyer or business card can be acceptable. Just ensure it doesn’t overshadow the personal message. The key is to maintain a balance between holiday cheer and business promotion.
