Removing Subscribers from Your Website: An Overview

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

When a subscriber clicks the unsubscribe link in an email sent from a website, they are automatically removed from the website's mailing list. This automated process alleviates the need for manual removal by the website owner. However, if the subscriber is also part of a separate email newsletter, the owner must manually remove them from that list. This discussion highlights the efficiency of automated subscriber management systems in reducing administrative tasks.

I sent out a message from my website to everyone and one person clicked on the remove or unsubscribe or whatever link. Will she automatically be removed from my website list or do I need to do that manually?

She will automatically be removed. It's always a bummer when that happens. If you do a separate email newsletter and she's on that list, you'll probably want to go and remove her from that too.:(

It's okay.... I can't remember who she is so she may have been an online order from someone that lives somewhere else... who knows... I'm just glad the website does it for me... one less thing to think about! :)
