What's Monday?

Amy - you can do it! Trust me - I know it gets bad (hello I'm having nightmares about getting Nos!), but eventually it will get better, just remember that. And come on here when you really need a boost, as we've all been there and will gladly give it to you!

I made 2 more contacts tonight at the fam reunion. I talked to my Aunt who told me to call her tomorrow at work where she has her calendar so we can find a day (gave her a host packet) and my cousin asked me if I was still doing PC and how much I was doing. I was so stressed and nervous about talking to my aunt that I didn't ask her about having her own show, but did tell her that JoAnne was having a show and we'd love to have her! I am kicking myself now, but my friend reminded me that I was so nervous, at least I talked to her about it. So I will make sure we send her an invite to the show then MAKE sure to invite her to host her own. I wish I had a smily kicking myself in the behind!!! Oh well... 2 more shows than I had yesterday :)

I didn't get a chance to post last night, but I got a recruit lead and had a good party. I have a party tomorrow night that I hope is really good!!

Hanging my head in shame, no live people today. Yesterday was so good, well we will see how tomorrow will go.Alison see it was great, you get a show out of the deal. Keep up the good work ladies.

Amanda... don't worry about it. 1 day off won't kill you. However if you take more than 2 I may break out that new Santuko on ya :D:p:angel:

Slight Hijack here - but Alison - it's good to have you back!:)

Becky - thanks! It's good to be back! I really did need the last 10 months to focus on grad school and PC took a backseat (stayed active by pure luck and God's grace!), which thankfully it can. It's good to be back and to try and keep myself on goal. Last Sept I worked every single day between PC, classes and my "real" job and just fried myself. This year I have learned that it is okay to be excited with 3-4 shows a month, as that is all I can manage. I used to think I had to do at least 4 to be "serious" and I've learned that what is "serious" is what is right for me. So this year I'm back, a bit older and a lot wiser, ready to achieve my goals! I know I couldn't do it without y'all!

So in addition to my booking from earlier in the day, a MIA catalog host got a hold of me and told me she had $600 in orders for me to pick up from her tomorrow!

PRAISE JESUS!

If it all get's submitted in time, that will put me to just over $4K for the month! GOD IS GOOD!

Wow! That is fun news Ellen! What an awesome month!

Met with new recruit today to help her submit her first show and answer ?s. She lives in Nevada, visiting Oregon. She goes home Friday. I felt good getting her off to a great start. She has a catalog show going in Oregon right now, a jump start to the business show scheduled, another catalog, and after brainstorming she's going to WW meeting to book a show with the ladies.

Tomorrow I'm talking with a client of my husband's who just had a baby 2 mths. ago. I don't know her status, but she's staying at home right now. I'm making calls to book my last 3 dates I want filled in August. Calling potential recruits to invite them to our cluster meeting in a week and to follow up on my informationa packet I sent them (5 potential recruits). Setting interview time up with another for August 4. Looks good with her.

Haven't posted in a few days and contacts have been slim. I've been so focused on getting my contacts organized I guess....which, btw, is working out awesomely (is that a word??) for me!!

But, had a show last night. 12 guests and the host was only expecting 5 or so!! Sales are about $15 short of $700, but host is calling her aunt today who was interested in the Chilzanne bowl. Got one booking and a couple others interested. And, the host is considering the business, as she has 3 small kids (4, 18 mos & 6 mos) at home and wants to be able to stay with them. Keep your fingers crossed!

All in all, it was a great night! :D ....even if I forgot the Jamaican Jerk Rub to make the Jerk Chicken Nachos!

I better get on the phone after I go pick up the hay! I am afraid, that could hurt.

I am really excited about it. Now the tricky part is going to be picking up all her orders and submitting them in time. I hadn't budgeted time for this since I hadn't heard from her.

Wow that IS a great show!

So I must have been crazy to host a Partylite show towards the end of this month knowing that I would be busy trying to close out PC shows but it seems to be working out for me.

This morning one of the guests at my show (a friend of mine brought her so I don't really know her) came to bring me her PL order. We got to talking and she had never heard of PC before. I gave her a catty and will follow up with her soon. She may book a September show!

Had nine contacts--mostly from talking with people at the jewelry party tonight. The consultant may be interested in a September PC party. I have her phone number. I'll be giving her a follow-up call. :)

Just got off the phone with my cousin in VA. She is going to think about becoming a consultant. One contact today. Made other calls but nobody was home. Took my catalogs to the beach, but it was surprisingly not very busy for such a nice beach day.

So I made 7 calls tonight....talked to 2 (whoo-hoo there are people out there!:sing:) people, even though neither was interested in the opportunity or the show....and left messeges that I would call back for the others...how often is it okay to call? Once a week is what I was thinking...unless of course I get the "Leave me alone you crazy Pampered Chef Lady"!:yuck:

Don't want to move from the crazy Pampered Chef lady to the Stalker Pampered Chef Lady!

I am going to overcome this phone come heck or high water!

ps...how do you start a conversation out and about...say like when I had the kids at the library yesterday?

One Catty booked for sept., 2 product adjustments and looking at the going going gone list.Better than last night, but not what I wanted.

We will overcome the phone nervousness. I think when we are out and about we have to just start talking to others. Then we will get better at it. I'm right there with you. Compliment the person, sincerely, or comment about what you are looking at. If she is open to conversing, then keep going.

where's she at?!?! She can come to my meetings!:D

well, tonight was the "well, maybe later.....let me check my calendar and see who I could get to come" deal with my contacts.

I also spent ALOT of time talking with my team which was a good thing. I connected with all of my WORKING team members.

Oh, and I sent out my newsletter this morning and got some online activity!

She is in Waynesborough. (I have no idea how to spell that.)

I've been trying to send mine out the day the outlet changes... :D

I booked a September show today, and made a customer care call, with no significant results.

Also, started the "Pamper a Business" by stopping in at 3 area businesses (2 salons and a realtor). This resulted in getting an invitation to set up a table from 9-2 tomorrow at the new salon (with Mary Kay, Shaklee, and another).

I also have a show tomorrow, and really have done nothing to prepare for either, and it is now 11:00pm. It is going to be a late night.............

I made my 3 today.
1 possible recruit--she is intrigued by the new promotion
1 customer update on specials
1 call in the fall for Oct show.
Did have 1 July catalog host postpone her show until Aug. No tote for me, but definately getting the bags!!
