Has any one looked at the price changes and figured out what was going up or down by how much? That was a great selling point last year for my Feb Shows.

Can I pop in with a comment?

The list of price changes is quite lengthy. HO announced at Leadership that they received price increases on 120 products from their suppliers. When possible, they ate the increase, and tried to minimize them on other products. Big thanks to them for watching out for us!

Exactly. Another reason why I love our company. Even though they received increases on 120 products, only 45 products have seen a price increase, some of them as little as 50 cents.

I LOVE OUR COMPANY!!! They are always looking out for us. :)

I noticed the 5 and 7 pc cookware sets went up quite a bit. Haven't looked them all up yet.

Also think of that as a raise for you when prices go up we make more commision.

That's a good way to look at it!

Shipping did not go up, correct?

Not as far as I know. Nothing was said. We'll know for sure when changeover boxes start arriving and people check the order forms. (And please note on the back page of the CN, the write-in form is now the only one available.)

I just checked to see if I could pull up the March outside order form because that would have the shipping on there as well, but it's not up yet...

I did not see anything about shipping price change on the page of price changes in the CN. I would think if they did, that would be specifically addressed b/c they know some many people would not like it and want an explanation or something - but that just my opinion.

A few seasons back, shipping went up and there was no notification about it. just a new price on the order forms. I think that HO knows what will cause a near-riot, and announcing a shipping increase is one of them. So they tried to sneak it through.

I thought that's what happened a few seasons back, but wasn't sure. I saw on the news a few weeks back that Fed Ex had announced a price increase (I didn't catch the details, though) so I wouldn't be completely surprised if our rate did increase. Here's keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't!

Often those types of price increases are for people like you and me. Corporate accounts are usually locked into specific pricing for a specified length of time. I would be surprised if the shipping increased before the fall or possibly next spring.

Shipping did NOT go up. Yippee!:D The outside order form is laid out a little differently, though:thumbup: .
