I'm planning a Brunch show in September, and just tossing around some menu ideas. One thought I had was doing the Harvest Chicken Salad, plus a simple bread and a trifle. This show will have to be Kosher, so I'm trying really hard to incorporate that.

So, I'm looking for an easy bread recipe (to go with the salad) can't contain any dairy because of the chicken in the salad.

Also, I'm looking for a gingerbread trifle recipe. Does anyone have such an animal?

I thought I would get a head start and then see what the Season's Best has for this Fall too.

Most of the Trifles I do have dairy in them.....so couldn't be served with the Chicken Salad, right? But maybe you could do the Strawberry Spinach Salad?

The new brunch pizza that will be around looks yummy! I might offer that for my brunch shows :)

Why don't you do a seven layer salad (dairy) &/or a 3 cheese garden pizza and then do a couple of desserts. It would be easier to make a dairy entree and then make a decadent dessert than to try to find a good non-dairy one. After all, almost everyone goes wild over chocolate.

I saw on here somewhere last night that someone made up a recipe book just of recipes for the trifle bowl. I'll search and see if I can find it. I think the thread title was somthing about "SURPRISE". I'll post again if I find it...

That was John - pampered1224. The booklets are really nice.

If you search the file section for trifle you'll also find 2 booklets of recipes - one dessert (trifle recipes) & one salads (trifle salads).

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some key considerations when planning a kosher brunch show?

When planning a kosher brunch show, it's essential to ensure that all food items are certified kosher. This includes checking for kosher symbols on packaging and ensuring that meat and dairy products are kept separate. Additionally, consider the dietary restrictions of your guests, such as gluten-free or vegan options, and plan your menu accordingly.

What are some easy kosher brunch menu ideas?

Some easy kosher brunch menu ideas include bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon, a vegetable frittata, fresh fruit salad, and a selection of pastries. You can also include a quinoa salad with roasted vegetables and a yogurt parfait with granola and berries for a refreshing touch.

Can you suggest some kosher recipes for a brunch show?

Absolutely! Here are a few kosher recipes you can try: 1) Spinach and Feta Quiche – made with a kosher pie crust; 2) Mini Bagel Sandwiches – filled with various spreads and toppings; 3) Fruit Skewers – using seasonal fruits; and 4) Challah French Toast – served with maple syrup or fruit compote. Each of these dishes is delicious and easy to prepare!

How can I incorporate Pampered Chef products into my kosher brunch show?

You can showcase Pampered Chef products by using them to prepare and serve your kosher dishes. For example, use the Food Chopper to quickly dice vegetables for your frittata or the Stoneware for baking your quiche. Highlighting these tools during your show can also encourage guests to consider purchasing them for their own kitchens.

What beverages should I serve at a kosher brunch?

For a kosher brunch, consider serving a variety of beverages such as fresh-squeezed orange juice, iced tea, and coffee. You can also offer sparkling water with lemon or mint for a refreshing option. Ensure that any juices or beverages are labeled kosher, and avoid mixing dairy with meat in your drink selections.
