See, I'm seeing those blue words for changing the show type...ugh!Brandi2007 said:Don't delete! In P3 click on the host show the at the top on the right side of your screen there are your tabs (summary, customers, payments, finish). Click the first tab summmary. The top of this screen tells you the host, the show number and then show type. It will tell you whatever you have the show as now. Next to that are blue words that say Edit show type. Click that and it will offer you cooking show or wedding shower. I just tried it.

I "cheat" like this! The hardest part is remembering to downgrade before reading the host her benefits! I had to pay $15 for that mistake, LOL!chefann said:Bria is correct. You can "downgrade" to a catalog show, but you cannot upgrade a catalog show to Cooking. Kinda stinks. The "cheater" solution is to enter all shows as Cooking, and then change them to Catalog when needed.

Changing a show from Catty to Cooking means transitioning the focus of the party from simply showcasing the catalog and products to actively engaging guests in a cooking demonstration. This allows for a more interactive experience where guests can see the products in action and taste the food prepared.
You can initiate the change by introducing a recipe that you plan to demonstrate using Pampered Chef products. Explain the benefits of the products as you use them, and encourage guests to participate in the cooking process, whether by helping with prep or asking questions about the products.
Changing to a Cooking show can enhance guest engagement, increase product interest, and lead to higher sales. Guests are more likely to purchase items they have seen used in a live demonstration and tasted in the cooking process, making it a more effective sales strategy.
To prepare, select a simple recipe that showcases multiple products, gather all necessary ingredients and tools beforehand, and practice your demonstration. Make sure to have a clear plan for how you will transition the focus from the catalog to the cooking experience during the show.
If your guests seem uninterested in cooking, you can still engage them by highlighting the convenience and versatility of the products. Offer samples of the finished dish and encourage questions about the products. You can also share tips and tricks that make cooking easier, which may spark their interest.
