Consultants on Insufficient Fund StatusHi all!

I just learned something important that I want to share with you.

I have a Consultant who bounced two payments to Home Office in a two month period. She must submit her shows by mail along with payment in the form of a Money Order, Cahier's Check or Pampered Chef Credit Card. That is the information in the Policy and Procedures document.

The part that is not in print is how a Consultant who is in this status submits without having to hand write everything. If your Consultant is using PP3, her PP3 will be updated to provide all of the information needed to submit a show on the Show Summary Report. She would print the report and mail it with her payment. Anyone who is not on Insufficient Fund Status cannot use this report for mailing in shows, the report looks different.

This is the first time I have run across this so I hope I am not sharing something everyone else already knows.

Arbonne? So I am trying out a full line for a few days. Is anyone familiar with Arbonne and what are your thoughts? I might sign up to get the discount if it works well.

I love the Arbonne products. I use the "RE" line. Definately worth the price when you get the membership. One thing about the membership though is to buy your membership at the beginning of the month.....you have until the end of the following month to buy your RSVP (forgot what that stands for). That is where you can buy $700 worth of products for $350......you have to have exactly $700 or less though or it rejects on you (PITA!) I had a friend go in with me on this since I didn't need that much product for personal use, but couldn't stand to let that deal pas me by, with tax and shipping it was @ $400.

I've used some of the RE line(edited to correct that I think it is actually the Nutrimen C line - shows how often I use it - never read the bottle) and another one (white bottles, green lid). I'm not one for a daily facial regime so I don't use it much. The hand lotion was nice for my daughter who is sensitive to perfumed lotions, etc.

Very expensive though - even with a discount I thought...

One piece of advise...if you use the soaps or shampoos, get our PC suds pump and put it in there, it will make it last much longer.

I use the Nutrimen C line. I like though I did hear some disturbing news from a girlfriend who also used it. She went to get a facial and the facialist(not sure if that is a word! LOL) could tell what she used as soon as she looked at her skin. She has/had tiny pustules(again..spelling is a weakness) under her skin from using the Nutrimen C line. They look like whiteheads but they don't go away. My GF has stopped using it and to be honest after her story I am leary of using it!

I had done a ton of research on the company before I started selling PC because a lady I know was really trying to sell it to me along with trying to get me to sell Arbonne. I was not pleased with what I found about the company history and past deception and how they said they developed their formulas vs. where they bought them. I don't have all the research on hand, I didn't save a lot of it...wish I did.

Anyway, I like the hand lotion for my daughter, but other things causing issues doesn't really surprise me. I am SO glad PC has a nice, clear, honest background/story!

So maybe I shouldn't do it?

I think that only you can make that decision Kristin. Skin types are different and people have different results with their products. You will probably find as many people displeased with Arbonne as are happy with them (just like PC, there are lovers and haters of our products and company policy). I'm currently very pleased, my skin looks and feels so much better, and for now I will continue using them.

Like Linda said, you have to decide for yourself. I would try the samples for awhile before you make an investment though and then decide if the product and company is where you want to put that much money.

I was fairly pleased with the few things I mentioned, just personally not happy with what I read vs. what my area consultant was telling me and knew I couldn't sell the products or be passionate about them.

I think that you should try out the line and see how it works for YOU. One skin care may work wonderful for one person but not the next. We all have different skin types.

If it works for you and signing up for the discount the price is right for you, I would do it. One thing to keep in mind, if you want to be a director with pc you can not sell for another company..even if it is just for the discount. If Directorship is what you want, I would have dh or mom sign up for arbonne (u pay for it) so you can get the discount.

I use MK and signed up just for the discount and I love this line and have no problem paying the price for it. I also use the day/night solution with the regular line.

maybe I should have read one more post down and I would have seen that Linda and I have the same opinion!

Hhmmm interesting, I too tried the sample pack of this Nut.C line and loved it and even thought of signing just for the discount but never did and maybe now I am glad I didn't! I too thought even with the discount it was still pricey! So I've been thinkin about buying Avon's Renew again cause I can't find anything over the counter at drug stores that I really like!

I love their body lotion. I use it on my legs every day. Every Christmas holiday they offer it in a size that is triple the one that is in the catalog. I get two and they each last me six months. Be on the lookout for it on sale now! Very reasonably priced.

I was going to say something close to the same.....I don't "think" that my skin is the same as my GF's and even she said it might jsut have been a reaction to her skin. I will continue to use my product but keep my eye out for any issues....

I know we can't sell for another company if we are a director, but we can't even do it for a personal discount? Are you sure? That's doesn't seem quite fair. I know my SED uses Arbonne so I'll ask her what she does.

If you sign up for the discount, that is the same as "signing up as a consultant" to them. That's where you would have issues. No one said your husband couldn't purchase for you - I don't think that is against policy.

I agree. I personally would not take the risk, I would just sign my dh up and purchase the products that way. If you want a *for sure* answer I would call ho and speak to a manager and get there name and write down the date and time you called.

Well this is something I will look into further. I will wait and see how the week goes for my face. My skin is so darn sensitive. That is a good idea though to sign up my husband.

My skin is very prone to break outs and the Nutrimin C is the only thing that's helped.

I like the face wash, toner and day creme. That's it. It's very expensive (even with the discount) for me but lasts quite a while.

I also LOVE the baby sunblock for my DS. My friend's kids have really bad skin problems and the Arbonne for kids products are the only ones they can use.

I've used Arbonne, the RE anti-aging line. I do really like it and can tell a difference with my skin when I do use it. However, I'm a terrible follow-through-er when it comes to a regimen like that. I go to bed way too late anyway and the last thing I want to do is a 5 step process before bedtime. So, I usually go with my "regular" cleanser and that's it. So I've really gotten out of practice. And it was really expensive! When I finally decided to try it a couple years ago, the consultant was doing a special for a breast cancer fundraiser and was selling the line at HER cost and donating something to the fundraiser. So, it was a huge savings and that's when I decided to do it. But, I'm doubting I'll pick back up with it. I've also been told about signing up "for the discount" but it really would be signing as a consultant. I haven't looked at the contract, but I would bet it basically would have some of the same legal mumbo-jumbo as the PC agreement. To me, that means you'd technically be a consultant with them, but just not actively sell it. I guess it's a nice option, but not for me:D. I do love the product though! But it IS expensive and even though doing a 5-10 minute regimen doesn't sound like much, it's the first thing to go with me when I'm short on time!

I used one of their foot creams one time and loved it. Other than that I have no info.

Never knew this - thanks!

I knew about the type of payment requirements as I have a consultant who had to do this. But they never mentioned the special report- interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I remember back with PP they could just print the show and mail it.

My question is, how long will your consultant stay on IF status and what are the requirements to get back to be able to use her debit card?
