I am looking to book a fundraiser to raise money for a friends church pantry. They have and awesome kitchen the show is the easy part. What are the options for getting their PC products to those who order them?

They can either have it shipped directly and pay the shipping cost based on order total, or their can be a designated host that can get the orders shipped to them and have the customers pick up from him/her.
Or if you want more work, you can ship them to you and then distribute them.

I did a fund-raiser/vendor's fair in a town about 60 miles away at Christmas, and I made arrangements to go back to the location about 3 weeks out for delivery. (They paid the normal $4.00 s/h) I made a slip of paper to give to those who ordered stating that I would be there on such and such a date from x:00-X:00 (I did two hours, and was actually done in about 45 minutes). I called people to remind them the night before. It was a little extra work, but It made things go SO smoothly, and I wasn't relying on someone else to do my job. (plus the shopping in that town is much better, so I made a day of it!). :)

With all of my fundraisersI have everything delivered to me, I bag the items up, and then deliver it to the chairperson. Each bad is clearly labeld with who the order is for, and who collected the order (ex- Sue collects orders from 5 people - I'll have both Sue's name on it as well as the person who the actuall order is for).

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best ways to get orders after a party?

After a party, you can follow up with guests via email or social media to remind them of the products they were interested in. You can also create a special promotion or offer a limited-time discount to encourage them to place their orders. Additionally, consider sending a personalized thank-you note to attendees, which can include a link to your online store.

Can I take orders after the party has ended?

Yes, you can take orders after the party has ended. Many direct sales consultants continue to accept orders for a limited time following the event. Make sure to communicate this to your guests and provide them with a clear deadline for placing their orders.

How can I encourage guests to place orders after the party?

To encourage guests to place orders, you can offer incentives such as a small gift for those who order within a specific timeframe or a raffle entry for a larger prize. Highlight the benefits of the products and remind them of any exclusive offers that were available during the party.

Should I follow up with guests individually or as a group?

It's often more effective to follow up with guests individually, as this personal touch can make them feel valued and more likely to place an order. However, you can also send a group message to remind everyone of the ordering deadline and any promotions you are offering.

What if a guest missed the party but is still interested in ordering?

If a guest missed the party but is interested in ordering, you can provide them with the same ordering options as those who attended.
