I have a customer who had one plate get chipped in the dishwasher. (She may have had it too close to something else in the dishwasher but she says it just came out of the dishwasher that way.)

Is this covered under the one year guarantee and if so how can I do an adjustment for one plate?

If she didn't load it into the dishwasher properly, I don't think that'd be covered, but if she just tells HO that she noticed it was chipped when she pulled it out of the dishwasher, they may exchange it. I would call HO to do the adjustment, because if you do it online, they may ask you to send back the whole 16 piece set.
 
More than likely they may have you send back the whole set anyway. That is generally what they do. Call HO and talk to someone about it.
 
No they won't, I have done several adjustments on SA plates--they have you send back the chipped/broken one, sometimes they don't even do that.
