Has anyone done a fundraiser for a specific individual / family for medical expenses?

I've been asked to join the fundraising efforts for a family with astronomical medical expenses by doing a catalog / online fundraiser without a demo or party of any kind.

I'm looking for a flyer that anyone has used for a catalog only / online "event" that I could use / modify.

I've looked through the files and really didn't see anything. But then again, my contacts are still a little fuzzy this morning.

Any help would be appreciated as they want to get this started ASAP to take advantage of holiday shoppers.

I've also posted this in the Fundraisers thread, but posted here as well for max potential for help.

Thanks!

Hi there! I haven't personally done a fundraiser for a specific individual or family, but I have heard of others who have had success with it. I think it's a great idea to help out those in need. As for a flyer, I haven't come across one specifically for a catalog/online fundraiser, but here are a few ideas that might help:1. Keep the flyer simple and to the point. Include a brief description of the individual/family and their medical expenses, along with the purpose of the fundraiser.2. Use eye-catching graphics or images to grab people's attention. You can also include a photo of the individual/family to personalize the cause.3. Provide details on how people can participate in the fundraiser. For example, include a link to an online catalog or an order form for the catalog.4. Emphasize the urgency of the situation and the importance of taking action now. This can be done through a call to action or a deadline for orders.5. Make it easy for people to share the flyer with others. Include social media icons or a QR code so people can easily spread the word.I hope these suggestions help! Best of luck with your fundraiser and I hope you are able to make a positive impact on this family's situation.

Hello!

I have not personally done a fundraiser for a specific individual or family, but I have seen other consultants successfully do so with great results. I would be happy to share some tips and ideas with you.

In terms of a flyer, you can definitely customize one of our existing flyers to fit your needs. You could highlight the specific cause and include information about the family and their medical expenses. You could also include a special message from the family, expressing their gratitude for any support they receive.

Another idea could be to create a special flyer that includes a list of items from our catalog that are particularly useful for those with medical needs. This could be a helpful resource for those who want to support the fundraiser but may not know what to purchase.

I would also recommend utilizing social media and email to spread the word about the fundraiser. You could create a special Facebook event or group for the fundraiser and share the flyer and any updates there. You could also send out an email blast to your contacts, explaining the cause and how they can support.

I hope these ideas help and I wish you the best of luck with your fundraiser! Let me know if you need any further assistance or have any other questions. Best of luck!
