I know I have seen info on here before about calling the guest for the host and I don't remember where it is (old timers I guest). I have a host that I booked and I told her I would call her guests to remind them of the show as a perk to schedule and she took me up on it, no problem. The catch is she sent me a list for her invitations that is 100 people. WOW. I think someone had suggested a service? Any advice? And yes they are ALL LONG DISTANCE calls for me because she lives 30 minutes away. Thanks for all the help

Hi there! I completely understand your concern about making long distance calls for your host's guests. One option you can consider is using an online invitation service, such as Evite or Paperless Post, to send reminders to the guests. This way, you can save time and money on long distance calls. Another option is to offer to send a personalized email reminder to the guests instead of calling them individually. This can also be a more efficient and cost-effective way to reach out to all 100 guests. I hope this helps! Best of luck with your show. Happy cooking!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best times to call guests for my Pampered Chef event?

The best times to call guests are typically in the early evening or on weekends when people are more likely to be available. Aim for times when they are not likely to be busy with work or family obligations. You can also ask your guests for their preferred times when you send out initial invitations.

How should I introduce myself when calling guests?

Start by introducing yourself and mentioning your connection to the event, such as being the host or a friend of the host. For example, you could say, "Hi, this is [Your Name], and I'm hosting a Pampered Chef event on [Date]. I wanted to personally invite you!" This helps establish a friendly tone and makes the call feel more personal.

What should I say to encourage guests to attend?

Highlight the benefits of attending, such as the opportunity to try new recipes, learn cooking tips, and enjoy some fun with friends. You can also mention any special promotions or giveaways that will be available during the event. Make it sound exciting and emphasize how much you would love to see them there!

How can I handle guests who are hesitant to attend?

If a guest seems hesitant, ask them about their concerns. They might have scheduling conflicts or feel unsure about the event. Offer flexible options, such as attending virtually if available, or reassure them that it will be a relaxed, enjoyable experience. Sometimes, just knowing that their presence is valued can encourage them to attend.

Should I follow up with guests after the initial call?

Yes, following up is a great way to reinforce your invitation and show that you care about their attendance. A quick text or email reminder a few days before the event can help. You can also use this opportunity to share any updates or additional details about the event that might excite them.
