Does anyone know if we put a piece of paper (ie a flyer I make on my computer) in the mini catalog if that would still be only one stamp?

I don't think it should effect the weight. I just mailed the catalog in an envelope with the recruiting flyer to inactive consultants. It still weighed the cost of a first class stamp. I am SO glad they made the mini catalog to fit in an envelope....FINALLY!! :)

Miss Peach,

Thanks for sharing that tip. . .it's lots easier to create a flyer and put it all in an envelope together rather than stuffing the flyer and taping the edges. . ..

How did you get your mini catalogs so early?

I went to PP and they aren't available to me until August 1st

You can get them at Conference, but then you have to lug them home or pay to ship them with the contents of your surpize boxes. I went to Conference for the first time this year (of course, I've only been a consultant since Oct :)) and am very happy that I have them this early. I can check out the boards for ideas, hand them out to strong recruiting leads, and plan what I want to do with the rest. In the past I have found great ideas on what to use them for and how, but haven't had enough time to do it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are mini catalog inserts and how can they help with postage savings?

Mini catalog inserts are smaller promotional materials that showcase a selection of products from your main catalog. By including these inserts in your mailings, you can reduce the overall weight and size of your packages, which can lead to significant postage savings when sending out promotional materials to customers.

How do I create effective mini catalog inserts for my direct sales business?

To create effective mini catalog inserts, focus on highlighting a few key products that are popular or on promotion. Use eye-catching visuals and concise descriptions to engage your customers. Ensure that the design is professional and aligns with your brand, and consider including a call-to-action to encourage immediate purchases.

Can I use mini catalog inserts for digital marketing as well?

Yes, mini catalog inserts can also be adapted for digital marketing. You can create digital versions of your inserts to share via email, social media, or your website. This approach allows you to reach a wider audience without incurring postage costs, while still promoting your products effectively.

What are some tips for maximizing postage savings when using mini catalog inserts?

To maximize postage savings, consider printing your mini catalog inserts on lightweight paper and keeping them to a standard size that fits within postal regulations. Additionally, bundle multiple inserts together when sending to the same customer to reduce the number of individual mailings. Always compare postage rates and consider using bulk mailing options if you have a large volume of inserts to send.

How often should I update my mini catalog inserts?

It's a good practice to update your mini catalog inserts regularly, ideally every season or whenever you have new products or promotions. This keeps your marketing materials fresh and relevant, ensuring that customers are always aware of the latest offerings and incentives, which can help drive sales and engagement.
