This is my first year doing this so I'm unfamiliar with how it works during the Tax Free Weekend (scheduled for Aug 16 and 17 this year).

Anyone know what happens?

I was going to email HO as well, but I wanted to see if anyone here knew.

Did you find out anything? I know HO sent out an email and be darned if I can find it but now my catalogue party called and wants to close tonight to save on the sales tax. I asked her earlier and she said no she wanted to close next week. Nothing like waiting til last minute huh? So how do I adjust for the no sales tax tonight? Thanks to anyone who may still have the email :)

Tax Free Weekend is a special event where certain items are exempt from sales tax in order to help families save money on back-to-school shopping. It usually happens once a year and is a great opportunity to stock up on school supplies, clothing, and other necessities without having to pay additional taxes. It's a popular event and many stores participate, so you can expect to see longer lines and bigger crowds. Make sure to plan ahead and arrive early to get the best deals!
