Easy Corn Chowder from the Soups and Stews card is delish! I added extra potatoes, corn, and ham to make it very hearty. It would taste great with corn bread!

A family favorite (before my dad died he would ask for this when we'd visit, he always said mom didn't make it right HA! He & my husband both HATE mushrooms but, it's my husbands favorite soup as well!)

WILD RICE SOUP

1 large onion diced
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
8 oz peppered bacon
1/2 cup wild rice ( from a box not a preseasoned package)
1 can chicken broth
2 cups milk
1 can campbells Cream of potato soup (largest can)
1 pound velveeta cubed
Saute onions, mushrooms and bacon. Cook rice in broth 20 minutes
Combine all ingredients except cheese heat thoroughly add veleeta.

THANKS! Always know the group will help out. This site and the consultants are the BEST!! These will really help me out! Thanks again!!

You should make our beer bread instead of corn bread muffins. Either make it in a loaf or in the muffin pan. Maybe you'll get some extra sales!

I like the chicken lemon rice soup from the It's Good For You book. I'm at work, so I don't have it with me. But it's tasty and easy (and low-fat).

The Chicken Broccoli Alfredo soup is to die for!! I did several shows featuring this recipe last fall. It's found in the Soups, Stews and Chilis recipe cards.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Silicone Floral Baker and how is it used for making soup and cornbread muffins?

A Silicone Floral Baker is a flexible, non-stick baking mold designed to create beautifully shaped baked goods. It can be used in the oven, microwave, or freezer, making it versatile for both savory and sweet recipes. When making soup, you can use it to bake cornbread muffins that can be served alongside the soup, enhancing your meal presentation and flavor.

Can I use the Silicone Floral Baker for both soup and cornbread muffins at the same time?

While the Silicone Floral Baker is excellent for baking cornbread muffins, it is not designed to hold liquid for soup. However, you can prepare the cornbread muffins in the Floral Baker while your soup simmers on the stove. Once the muffins are baked, serve them alongside your soup for a complete meal.

How do I properly care for and clean my Silicone Floral Baker after making soup and cornbread muffins?

To care for your Silicone Floral Baker, allow it to cool completely after use. You can wash it with warm, soapy water or place it in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Avoid using sharp utensils that could damage the silicone surface. Proper care will ensure its longevity and maintain its non-stick properties.

What are some tips for achieving the best results when baking cornbread muffins in the Silicone Floral Baker?

For the best results, preheat your oven and ensure that your batter is well-mixed without overmixing. Lightly grease the Silicone Floral Baker with cooking spray or oil to enhance the non-stick properties. Fill each mold evenly, and keep an eye on the baking time, as silicone can cook differently than metal pans. Allow the muffins to cool slightly before removing them from the mold for perfect shapes.

Can I use other recipes besides cornbread muffins in the Silicone Floral Baker?

Absolutely! The Silicone Floral Baker is versatile and can be used for a variety of recipes, including cupcakes, brownies, and even savory dishes like quiches or mini casseroles. Feel free to experiment with different batters and mixtures to create unique baked goods that complement your meals.
