Dee Dee said:I have been in the business for 15 years and have hardly ever cooked in front of my guests. I demo products with demonstration food such as a carrot, lemon, cucumber, green pepper, garlic clove, potato, etc.
I have a show average of over $700 and have had for a long time. It works great because you can talk about alot more of the products if your not trying to cook and talk.
I arrive 1 hour before the show and make two recipes in the kitchen and serve them as they are ready to eat during my show. It works great-I would never do it any other way!!
My guest comment on how they love it because all the other shows they go to they have to watch the consultant cook and then they eat late.
I encourage you to try it!

To prepare lime and cucumber for your demo, start by washing the cucumbers thoroughly. Slice them into thin rounds or spears for easy serving. For the limes, roll them on the counter to release the juices before cutting them in half. You can use a citrus juicer to extract the juice efficiently. Consider pairing the lime juice with a sprinkle of salt or sugar to enhance the flavors.
You can showcase several Pampered Chef products by using lime and cucumber. For instance, use the Microplane to zest the lime for added flavor in dressings or marinades. The Food Chopper can quickly dice cucumbers for salads or salsas. Additionally, demonstrate the use of the Citrus Press to extract lime juice effortlessly.
Consider demonstrating a refreshing cucumber and lime salad, a zesty cucumber-lime salsa, or a lime-infused cucumber water. These recipes are simple, quick to prepare, and highlight the freshness of the ingredients while showcasing your Pampered Chef tools.
Engage your guests by inviting them to participate in the preparation process. Allow them to slice cucumbers or squeeze limes using the Citrus Press. You can also set up a tasting station where guests can sample different combinations of lime and cucumber dishes, encouraging them to share their thoughts and preferences.
Presentation is key! Use colorful serving platters to display your lime and cucumber dishes attractively. Garnish with fresh herbs like mint or cilantro for added color and aroma. Explain the health benefits of cucumbers and limes, and share personal anecdotes or stories related to the recipes to create a connection with your audience.
