I was in a little resturant, mainly take out, and notice a Curves lead bag. I go into resturant at least once a week. They know me and my car-they always have my food ready when they see me parking. So I asked the owner if I could bring in a lead box for Pampered Chef. She said sure-I'll find a spot for it!!! Of course I had already given a catalog to girl waiting on me. So I pointed to catalog my register and told owner call me. I am going to bring the lead box in on Saturday with a dessert. The resturant doesn't sell baked desserts, just ice cream. I only need enough to feed about 6. I plan to have a drawing on last day of month from door prize slips.

I have to decide what to make.

Congrats. thats such a neat idea. where did you get the box from though?? I might have to consider something like this.

I took some 'treats' into the salon Im doing a show for. I did the strawberry amarettos but I made them really small, like bite size. They were a HUGE hit and great to just take and eat.

Why not the new brownies!

You can order them from Merrill, or, if you're crafty, make your own by pasting pictures from old catalogs onto a shoe box!

I got my box from Merrill.I purchased 3 at one time. I now have set a goal to get the other 2 boxes at a business before Oct. 31. By Saturday, I will have them all ready to go in my car. I had said I would have a drawing last day of month, but have rethought that. If I say last day of month, then I can't call them until month end.

How often would you say drawing is going to take place?
weekly?
often?
several times a month?
or no time at all?

I wouldn't say a time at all. Then you can call them whenever!

I agree don't say anything ~ just put the drawing slips out. People might be excited just to find a Pampered Chef consultant! What a great idea!!!

You can also buy platic lead boxes from Staples.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Lead Box and how does it work?

A Lead Box is a marketing tool used in direct sales, particularly by Pampered Chef consultants, to collect potential customer information. It is typically a decorated box placed in a business, such as a salon or coffee shop, where customers can drop their business cards or fill out a form to enter a drawing for a prize. This helps consultants gather leads for future follow-ups.

How do I approach a business owner about placing a Lead Box?

When approaching a business owner, be polite and professional. Explain the purpose of the Lead Box and how it can benefit their business by attracting customers. Offer to provide the box and any necessary materials, and emphasize that it requires minimal effort on their part. Be prepared to answer any questions they may have about the process.

What should I include in the Lead Box?

In the Lead Box, include a sign that explains the purpose of the box, a drawing entry form, and a pen for customers to use. You may also want to include a small flyer or brochure about Pampered Chef products and the benefits of hosting a party. Make sure the box is visually appealing to attract attention.

How can I follow up with leads collected from the Lead Box?

After collecting leads from the Lead Box, organize the contact information and prioritize follow-ups. You can reach out via email, phone, or social media, depending on the information provided. Be friendly and introduce yourself as a Pampered Chef consultant, and mention that they entered the drawing. Offer to provide more information about products or hosting a party.

What are some tips for maximizing the effectiveness of a Lead Box?

To maximize the effectiveness of your Lead Box, choose high-traffic locations with a target audience that aligns with Pampered Chef products. Regularly check the box to ensure it is filled and maintain a good relationship with the business owner. Consider offering an incentive for customers to participate, such as a larger prize for the drawing or a discount on their next purchase.
