I was contacted by a local newspaper group about advertising in their Bridal Guide that will go out 4x/year in a few newspapers. I did forward the info to HO to ask what is acceptable for me to put in there, after I read through the Policy Guide. I'm debating it...cost could be worth it, or could be a loss. Tempting to just do the one time and see if there is any reward before committing to the remainder of the year.

Has anyone done this kind of advertising before?

I do this and I feel like it gets your name out there and lets people know that you provide this service. It's a write off on your taxes so I feel like it is worth it. You may not get many calls but you will find you have registries from people just going to your website and signing up

If so, what were your results? Did you feel like it was worth the investment? Any tips or advice for someone considering this kind of advertising?Thank you!I have not personally done this kind of advertising, but I have heard mixed reviews from other consultants who have. Some have had great success and have seen a significant increase in bookings and sales, while others have not seen much of a return on their investment. One thing to keep in mind is that advertising in a bridal guide may not necessarily target your ideal client. While some brides may be interested in hosting a Pampered Chef bridal shower or adding Pampered Chef products to their registry, others may not see it as a priority. Before committing to the advertising, I would recommend doing some research on the demographics of the newspapers and the readership of the bridal guide. Are they in line with your target market? Will the cost of the advertising be worth the potential return? It may also be helpful to reach out to other consultants who have advertised in the bridal guide and ask about their experiences. They may be able to provide some valuable insights and advice.Ultimately, the decision to advertise in the bridal guide will depend on your budget and your personal goals for your business. If you do decide to move forward with the advertising, I would recommend tracking your results closely to determine if it is worth continuing for the full year. Good luck!
