Hi all!
I only make one recipe at my shows, but sometimes if it is a very large show I like to bring a second (very easy) recipe as some extra food. Here is a good idea:

Mix equal parts Peanut Butter (not the recalled one!!!  ) with maple syrup to make a great dip for apples. Then, take along two apples and your apple wedger. You can display them on a SA plate and put the dip in a SA small bowl. Very easy and VERY good!

Thank you Kelly, that is a great idea. I am doing a large brunch show on Saturday and decided to do a layered fruit in the new Trifle Bowl. Hoping to get a lot of bookings for April. :)

I think it is even better than caramel apples! You can also sprinkle some crushed peanuts on top of the dip for a little extra crunch.I have done this at shows and it is always a hit. Hope you like it!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some easy "extra" recipes I can serve at large Pampered Chef shows?

Some easy recipes to consider include a simple dip like a spinach and artichoke dip, a quick fruit salsa served with cinnamon chips, or a crowd-pleasing dessert like mini cheesecakes. These recipes are not only delicious but can also be prepared in advance to save time during the show.

How can I incorporate Pampered Chef tools into my extra recipe demonstration?

Utilize Pampered Chef tools such as the Food Chopper for chopping ingredients, the Mix 'N Chop for blending, or the Quick Slice for slicing fruits and vegetables. Demonstrating these tools while preparing your extra recipe can showcase their effectiveness and encourage guests to purchase them.

What is a good way to present my extra recipe to engage the audience?

Engage your audience by inviting them to participate in the preparation of the extra recipe. You can have them help with simple tasks like mixing or measuring ingredients. Additionally, sharing fun facts about the recipe or its ingredients can keep the audience interested and entertained.

How can I ensure that my extra recipe is suitable for a large crowd?

Choose recipes that are scalable and can be easily multiplied to serve a larger group. Opt for recipes that can be made in bulk, like casseroles or large salads, and consider using disposable serving ware for easy cleanup. Make sure to account for dietary restrictions by offering a vegetarian or gluten-free option as well.

What are some tips for keeping the extra recipe preparation organized during the show?

Prepare as much as possible in advance, including pre-measuring ingredients and having tools ready to go. Create a clear timeline for when each part of the recipe will be demonstrated and stick to it. Keeping your workspace tidy and organized will help maintain a smooth flow during the presentation.
