I struggled to keep active - did ZERO recruiting or customer-care and paid very little attention to my business. Most of those "shows" were pulled together catalog shows and not actual cooking demos.

An uncle and great aunt died unexpectedly, then my sister and her husband separated, my parents got into an auto accident (leaving my dad in a wheelchair), then my grandparents got cancer, and then the holidays, then my nephew passed away suddenly (he was only 3). On top of having an infant. Yea, it's been hard for me. I went inactive twice, but am keeping with it. I'd love to average 44 shows next year!![]()

I would love to do more, but mentally, this is really good for me. I have now been in for 1 1/2years and only have one recruit. It sound like we are all pretty similar to our show schedule, so everyone keep up the good work!!!

In my first year with Pampered Chef, I had a total of 25 shows. This allowed me to build a solid customer base and gain valuable experience in direct sales.
A good number of shows in the first year can vary, but many successful consultants aim for 15 to 30 shows. This range helps establish a strong foundation for future growth.
To increase the number of shows, focus on networking, hosting your own shows, and utilizing social media to reach potential customers. Additionally, offering incentives for bookings can encourage more hosts to schedule shows.
You can host various types of shows, including traditional in-home shows, virtual shows, and catalog shows. Each format can attract different audiences and help you reach your show goals.
Common challenges include finding hosts, competing with other commitments in potential customers' lives, and overcoming personal hesitations about selling. Building confidence and developing a strong pitch can help mitigate these challenges.
