SUMMARY

To paste a recruiting flyer directly into an email, users should first open the flyer and select all content using "Ctrl + A" on a PC or "Command + A" on a Mac. After copying the content with "Ctrl + C" or "Command + C," they can open a new email, position the cursor, and paste the content using "Ctrl + V" or "Command + V." This method allows the flyer to appear in the email body, making it accessible without attachments. Alternative methods include using HTML formatted messages through platforms like Consultant Connection or email servers like iContact for larger images.

  • Familiarity with keyboard shortcuts (e.g., Ctrl + A, Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V)

I have a gal who never ever opens my attachments (she told me so). I was hoping to send her the new recruiting flyer, but I want to paste it into the email instead of attaching it. How on earth do I do that??? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sarah

Consultant Connection sends HTML formatted messages. You can send it to her through there if you have a web page.Or (if you are in windows) you can open the flyer to where you can see the whole thing, click ctrl+alt+prnt scrn, then go to your e-mail client & ctrl+v (which is the same as right click & paste).Last option that I can think of is an e-mail server like iContact. You can put larger images in there so that they are easier to read.

Hi Sarah,To paste the recruiting flyer directly into the email, you can follow these steps:1. Open the recruiting flyer on your computer.
2. Select all the content by pressing "Ctrl + A" on a PC or "Command + A" on a Mac.
3. Copy the content by pressing "Ctrl + C" on a PC or "Command + C" on a Mac.
4. Open a new email and position your cursor where you want to paste the content.

Can I attach the flyer instead of pasting it?

Yes, you can attach the flyer instead of pasting it. To do this, click on the 'Attach' button (usually represented by a paperclip icon) in your email client, locate the flyer file on your computer, and select it. This will add the flyer as an attachment to your email.

What file formats are best for flyers in emails?

How can I make sure my flyer is not too large for email?

To ensure your flyer is not too large, optimize the image size before sending. You can use image editing software to reduce the resolution or file size. Aim for a file size under 1MB to ensure it can be easily sent and received without issues.
