You do get commission on the GUEST sales and you get the host special, half price and free items. If the host is the consultant or someone who lives in their house you do not get commission on anything ordered with the HOST SHOW DISCOUNT and you do not get the past host benefit from any shows booked from that show.jwpamp said:Of course you make commission on the show! Why wouldn't you? It is still commissionable sales....![]()

But I do have have guest who would prefer to have things shiped to my hosue becasue their are not sure if they will be home when the UPS driver comes... but the commishion is still the same!!!for me at least!!
DebbieJ said:When you want to ship an order to your home, your host's or guest's name should remain on it. Then in the first address line you type in "c/o YOUR NAME" then the second address line is your address and so forth. Be sure to uncheck the "update contact management" box so you don't lose their info on it.
You will never be challenged if you do it that way.
jentapp said:Ok, so I'm still new, haven't had a show yet. If I were to hold a show of my own, which of these items would I still be eligible for and which would I lose:
Free merchandise?
Half priced items?
Whatever percentage off items?
60% off item?
I'm very confused.![]()
If they live in the same house as you you do not get commission on items purchased with the host discount and you do not get the booking benefit.jasonmva said:What if you do not share the same last name but live at the same residence? I am just wondering if I ever got enough individual orders and wanted to put my partner as the host if it would be beneficial.
PC knows that there are few names in the world that aren't duplicated. If her name is exactly the same as yours PC will probably hold the show and give you a call but they would clear it as soon as you explained.sarahmarie said:How about this one? My name is Sarah Hines and i am doing a show in a few months for my SIL whos name is also Sarah Hines. Will this cause any issues? It will be shipping to her address.
This could cause problems for the host though. If she ordered from someone else (to help a friend...) and doesn't know her host number, the consultant would have a hard time finding her on the host look up link.jrstephens said:I would maybe spell her's different or just use S. instead of Sarah just to make sure to not cause any problems.![]()
A Catalog Show is a type of direct sales event where hosts showcase a catalog of products to their friends, family, or colleagues without the need for a physical gathering. Hosts collect orders over a set period, usually a couple of weeks, and then submit them to the consultant. This format is perfect for busy individuals or those who prefer shopping at their convenience.
To host a Catalog Show for your work colleagues, start by reaching out to your Pampered Chef consultant to express your interest. They will provide you with catalogs and order forms.
