Is the fundraider % based on Guest sales or commissionable sales?

Since the chairperson is technically considered a "guest" for the fundraiser (except that they get to choose a host special item), I would say it's the guest sales. I tested it with a FR I have going in on Sun, and the guest sales are higher than the comm. sales when I enter a host special for the chairperson, but I'm not sure if that's what they go by. I hope they do! Is it on CC under Procedures??

AHA! I found it - P. 6 of the P&P - "The contribution is based on the total guest sales before tax and shipping"

Which makes sense, because then a past host's purchase of a booking bonus would still count toward the FR, even though it's not commissionable.

That's what I was hoping it was. Thanks for looking it up for me!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Guest Sales and Commissionable Sales in a Pampered Chef fundraiser?

Guest Sales refer to the total sales made by guests during a fundraiser event, while Commissionable Sales are the portion of those sales that are eligible for commission to the consultant. Not all sales may be commissionable, depending on discounts or promotions applied.

How is the percentage for fundraisers calculated in relation to Guest Sales?

The percentage for fundraisers is typically calculated based on the total Guest Sales. This means that the more guests purchase, the higher the total sales amount, which can lead to a larger percentage being donated to the cause or organization.

Are there any items that do not count towards Commissionable Sales?

Yes, certain items such as discounted products, promotional items, or items purchased with host rewards may not count towards Commissionable Sales. It’s important to check the specific guidelines provided by Pampered Chef for clarity on which sales are commissionable.

How does the commission structure work for fundraisers?

In a Pampered Chef fundraiser, consultants earn a commission based on the Commissionable Sales generated during the event. The percentage earned can vary depending on the total sales amount and the specific commission structure set by Pampered Chef.

Can a consultant still earn commission if the fundraiser does not meet a certain sales threshold?

Typically, if the fundraiser does not meet the minimum sales threshold set by Pampered Chef, the consultant may not earn commission on those sales. It’s essential for consultants to review the terms and conditions of the fundraiser to understand any minimum requirements.
