To reach your $1250 don't count the past host special (the one item they get at half price), but you can count anything else the past host buys. From the host's order only count the amount after the discount--not the half-price nor the Host Special. The easiest thing to do is look at each show and add up the commissionable sales. You can also go to Consultant Connection on Consultants Corner and see where you are there. Just be aware that it usually takes 24 hours for any new purchases to show up there.Robin McCord said:So to clarify since this is new to me. If I am trying to reach my $1250 in my first 30 days, anything that the host buys or the past host buys, will or will not count toward that.
No, consultants do not earn commission on the value of the hostess specials. Hostess specials are discounts or free products offered to the host based on their party sales, and while they enhance the host's experience, they do not contribute to the consultant's commission.
Hostess specials are exclusive offers available only to hosts who meet certain sales thresholds during their party. Regular sales refer to the products sold to customers at full price or with regular promotions. Commission is earned on regular sales, but not on the discounted hostess specials.
Yes, you can still earn commission on the total sales generated during the party, including any regular-priced items sold. However, the commission does not apply to the discounted items that are part of the hostess specials.
Hostess specials can encourage more bookings and higher sales at parties, as they incentivize hosts to invite more guests and promote the event. This can lead to increased overall sales, which benefits the consultant through their commission on regular-priced items sold during the party.
