You guys probley already know this but I figured this out yesterday afternoon while preping some food for desert last night. I jsut bought the apple wedger a couple of weeks ago, and I was making a receipie that called for "chopped apples" so I thought I wonder if the food chopper would work wiht the apple peels still being on the apple yes it does work and saves a lot of time and engergy..... so you can cross sell the apple wedger and the food chopper!!! thought I would share!!!

You mean you wedge the apples and then chop them with the food chopper? I read it a few times and still don't understand!

What a great idea Leah! Never thought of that but yes it would work to use the wedger and then the food chopper to get the smaller pieces. Thanks for sharing!

i was helping my director make mom's apple crisp. she gave me the batter bowl with graham crakers and a food chopper. i asked for the cutting board to chop. she told me to just put the chopper in the batter bowl and chop away! it worked like a charm!

Yes, that does work well.... but PC doesn't guarantee it to be used that way. The glass bowl can dull the blades. I do this at home, but not at shows because I don't want to show them something that PC doesn't recommend....
