I had a shower yesterday and made up a cool little display of the wish list items. I took the large colander from the 4 piece bowl and colander set. I printed off the wish list items, cut them apart, and taped them to bamboo grilling scewers. I then stuck the scewers through the wholes in the colander, two rows worth. I had green floral foam on the inside to stick them in. I then put a pink ribbon around the base and silk flowers on the top. Should have taken a picture, I could try and put it back together if anyone wants to see.

I defiantely want to see!!!!!!! I have a bridal shower for a girl in July (I'm the Maid of Honor) and I really want to make it extra special since it's her. That sounds so neat but I'm a visual person... thanks if you don't mind!

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials do I need to create a wish list display with a colander and bamboo skewers?

To create a wish list display, you will need a colander, bamboo skewers, small cards or paper for writing wish list items, and optional decorative elements like ribbons or markers to personalize the display.

How do I set up the colander for the wish list display?

Start by placing the colander upside down on a flat surface. This will serve as the base for your display. You can also decorate the colander with paint or fabric if desired.

How do I attach the bamboo skewers to the colander?

Insert the bamboo skewers into the holes of the colander, ensuring they are secure and evenly spaced. You can use a hot glue gun for extra stability if needed. Make sure the skewers are tall enough to hold the wish list cards above the colander.

What should I write on the wish list cards?

On each card, write down the items that guests are interested in or would like to receive. You can also include space for their name and contact information to follow up later.

How can I make my wish list display more visually appealing?

You can enhance the visual appeal by adding decorative elements such as colorful ribbons tied around the colander, using patterned paper for the wish list cards, or adding small embellishments like stickers or flowers to the skewers.
