Ouch! I was planning on putting my laptop (very slender) and my Consultant binder in my tote... does that mean it will not all fit? :o

Honest - I would NOT take your laptop unless you absolutely have to and are willing to leave it in your room. That is one lesson I learned from this trip ... those totes get way heavy with just normal stuff in them. A laptop will become a desktop pc by the end of the first day ...

You Have To Buy A Suprise Box!!Oh my gosh, I cannot tell you how excited I was about my boxes. I bought a $15 one on my first day, had it shipped home, and here is what is in the box:

deep dish baker (YES!!! Someone traded for the patriotic apron I had)
family size quick stir pitcher
ice shaver
easy accent decorator
lg micro cooker (plum color)
ANOTHER easy accent decorator (traded for some fall linens, I think)
stoneware crock (I tried to trade, but lots of these floating around)
stoneware tote (traded someone for ???)
nylon whisk
non-stick pancake mold, heart shaped
fizz keeper to put on 2-liter bottle
pack of SB from 2001 with envelopes
"The Pampered Chef Favorites" cookbook from 1992

I really want to go through and calculate the "actual retail value," but haven't had the chance yet.

So you decide, is it worth it?? I think so!! BTW, Shipping for this box was approx. $15.00

My second box will be here tomorrow, and I will list the contents when I open it. I know there is another deep dish baker, a mini baker, a small quick stir pitcher, and a patriotic apron. (This was a $15 box, too)

Now, neither one of my original boxes had any stoneware but I traded for it all. Some of the $50 boxes have 2 DDB in them.

I got a $10 box. Because I was just getting it to ship home mini catalogs and recipe cards. :)This is what I got:
1 pack S/S 2001 SBRC (6) with envelopes
Flower, heart and star bread tubes
blue tumblers
old can opener
TPC Favorites II cookbook (1994)
Cookies cookbook (1989)
lots of bubble wrap (what can I say, I'm a popper)I only really NEED the cookbooks (including SBRC). So if anyone wants to make an offer on the other stuff, I'm listening.

Can I get the bread tubes?

I have a feeling that once everyone gets back from conference there will be a lot of activity at the Marketplace!

The trading tables crack me up....I felt like I was on the floor at Wall Street! But I was right there, "who wants to trade for a stoneware crock? Anyone need a crock?"

A cluster-mate dubbed it "The Piranha Pit" the first year they had it, and the name's stuck. It was particularly apt that year. I swear, you could have gotten first-born children for some items!

Hehehe!!! If you had the children's apron and chef hat this year, some would seriously consider it! Yes, definitely "The Pirahna Pit"!

Sure! I'll take them to the PO tomorrow to get a ship quote, but I can fit them into a priority box no prob.
So, if I ship priority, how's $15 sound total?

That sounds wonderful!!Let me know the account to send the money to via paypal. Thank you so much Ann!! I love the tubes. They are great for so many things but I use them most for cutting up pineapple!! LOL

I'll get that out in the mail tomorrow!
Kewl!

what did you get?

I'm STILL waiting for mine! I mailed them Monday and I thought they'd be here by now!!! I'm so anxious to get my goodies!

Cynthia,

Sorry it took me a while to post (was busy with the twins). Here is a list of what I received.

Old stoneware crock (old hen logo)
Hunter green stoneware crock (2)
SBRC (one with the strawberry amaretto pastries on them) (6)
TPC Favorites II cookbook
1 pack S/S 2001 SBRC (6) with envelopes
Flower, heart and star bread tubes (traded the heart one though)
blue tumblers
non-stick pancake mold, heart shaped
easy opener (cranberry)
my safe cutter
old bar board
old cutting board (middle one)

I am drawing a blank as to what else I got!
Sorry but I am so needing to get to bed!

I am so.....jealous of all the attendees! I dislike flying so much that I've never attended and have always wanted to. Those boxes sound like so much fun. I'd love to purchase a patriotic apron from someone if they want to sell it! Can't wait to read more about it.

Yeah, I thought about doing that, but I'm glad I have a few of the old SBRC now (my box of retired ones got wet and they were all runied. I loved those things for door prizes!)

I think mine is here!!!! Fed EX in in my driveway!!!!

Darn!!! I wish I had thought of that!!!! I will remember for next year!

If anyone got a fizz thing for a 2 liter bottle of pop - my uncle has been wanting one for a very long time! Let me know how much you want for it or if you want to trade something.

I got one! Do you have anything you want to trade?

Just got mine- Yippeee! I didn't realize how many goodies that were actually in that box! Very cool!

Here's what I got in my $50 box.
Let me see....
Double Boiler.. had to trade for this, but was very geeked that I got it.
Large Grooved Cutting Board
Med Cutting Board
Parchment paper
cake stencils **
yellow crock**
Kids Apron and Chef's Hat
Doris' Sroneware Sensation Cookbook
Turquoise Micro Fiber Towel
5 s/s 06 Season's Best
Toaster Bags **
Nylon Slice and Serve
White Bar Board
Twixit Vlips in red/white/blue
Tile Napkins 2 **
Leaf Napkin Ring Set**
Old Cook's Corer
Handy Scraper in cranberry
Rectangle Lid/Bowl
Easy Pie and Tarts Cards
Super Salad Cards

If any of the items with astericks interest anyone, let me know. Email me privately or at [email protected]. I thought the tile napkins were towels, which is why I didn't trade them at conference. I love the trading part. My friend, was a first time conference attendee and so I had to help her wheel and deal. It was a blast!

I got mine on Thursday, shipped it home, and when I got there home last night, it was waiting for me. So conference fun actually lasted 1 more day for me.

Yes! Mine finally came yeaterday! I almost forgot what was in it!
