Will I Still Have a Job Tomorrow?

With the election last night, we found out that they are not closing my husband's casino. Wahoo!!!!

However, I just received an email at work requesting my presence at a meeting talking out the outsourcing of my job tomorrow. Don't know if when I leave the meeting if I will have a job or not.

That's is what I am telling myself. Now I just have to find someone to pick-up oldest DS from school tomorrow, so I can make it to the meeting.

Well I am finally able to get online and let you all know what happened.

28 people are having their jobs outsourced, which I am one of them. If we choose to work for the company that is taking over, we will keep our jobs. Basically, everything will be the same, except who we receive our paychecks from. I have another meeting tomorrow to find out about the specifics from the new company. I did find out that we are not going to have our pay cut (that's good!).

So all isn't too bad. The most important thing is I will still have a job! Thank you all for thinking about me. I will be able to sleep tonight.

Glad to hear that you aren't getting cut. I just thinking today how I hadn't hear an update from you in a while. Maybe it's all for the best and will all work out. Glad to also hear that your hubby's job isn't going anywhere.
