For some reason I can not get pictures of myself or clip art I have uploaded to show up on my website. Anyone have any suggestions?? I followed the instructions on how to upload a picture. I add it to the space I want it on my website. When I view my website it has that error box with no picture!!!

Help, anyone!!!!

They are probably too large. I've had that happen and when I shrink it down, it works.

I think Kitchen Guy was having trouble with this also. He said all the PC pics were fine but any pic he put on himself wasn't showing up...

That is my problem. All the pictures that PC already has in the inventory work, all of mine dont work.

I will try shrinking them, if I remember how!

Like I said, it's most likely the size. I've put pictures on just fine and another didn't work. I checked the size of the first and changed the other to about that size and it went through fine. I didn't realize there was a link for it! I just opened them and clicked and dragged.

Somewhere on PWS assistant is a note about how big your pics can be. It's not very large at all. So it's probably the size that's giving you the error.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why won't my pictures show up on my website?

There could be several reasons why your pictures are not displaying on your website. Common issues include incorrect file formats, broken links, or problems with your website's hosting service. Ensure that your images are in a supported format like JPEG or PNG and that the links to the images are correct.

Have I uploaded the images correctly?

Check to make sure that you have successfully uploaded the images to your website. Sometimes, uploads may fail due to connectivity issues or file size limitations. Verify that the images appear in your media library or designated folder.

Are there any size restrictions for images on my website?

Yes, many website platforms have size restrictions for images. If your images are too large, they may not display properly. Try resizing your images to meet the recommended dimensions or file size limits set by your website platform.

Is there a caching issue preventing my images from showing?

Sometimes, caching issues can prevent updated images from displaying. Clear your browser cache and refresh the page to see if that resolves the issue. Additionally, if you are using a caching plugin on your website, try clearing the cache there as well.

Could there be a problem with my website's theme or settings?

Yes, certain themes or settings may inadvertently hide images. Check your theme settings to ensure that images are enabled for display. If you recently updated your theme or plugins, this could also cause compatibility issues, so consider reverting to a previous version to troubleshoot.
