I want the double boiler back...
Plus, to whoever said that they wanted a plastic knife for lettuce and herbs, isn't the purpose of that to keep the lettuce from turning brown? The Crinkle Cutter works perfectly, is very quick, and the lettuce doesn't discolor.
I would love a stoneware garlic keeper and the butter bell.

I would also like ceramic knives!!! And a great idea would be a folding up knife keeper thingie...like this

PC used to have the Nylon Knife and Fork set.... that was great for cutting lettuce and herbs.I still have mine and use for that. I would like to see PC come back out with the old oven mitts. Do not like the silicon ones.

I want one... I have it on my Christmas list! :)

I'd buy one, too!

I really would love a butter keeper. I think Butter Bell is a trademark, but European Butter Keeper sounds high-falutin', so it's OK.

I would like to see the salsa brought back in a 3 pack to go along with the guacamole. I sold lots of the fiesta seasoning mixes. But, I had several customers who only wanted the salsa and an equal number of customers who only wanted the guacamole. They bought and shared with each other. Our salsa mix was awesome!!!

executive/pro wok

We have a Stir Fry Skillet...is that not close enough? I use mine all the time for stir-frys and other wok uses.

Wow you guys have awesome ideas!
I would like a mini-scraper. There are a few times those would come in handy.
I'd also like a bigger set of prep bowls, maybe a 4 pack of 2-cuppers. Sometimes I need to prep more than one cup! I LOVE the prep bowls!
I second/third/quintuple the different colored TTA and the oven mitts!
I'll keep thinking...your ideas are awesome! I can't wait to see what it is...hopefully in person!

kate-- i thought so but hubby want's a wok for some reason.. but he is hooked on the executive cookware :)

Okay, I was cooking and thought of a few more.
A spider, used to get veggies and delicate things out of water and oil.
A Salt Cellar! With a lid for Kosher salt. I have used Kosher salt for years, it is fantastic much better for you than that iodized junk. Has to have a lid though incase it is humid out.
A hand held microplane grater. I don't want to fiddle with the microplane adjustable grater for 1 nutmeg, ya know?
Some Heavy duty glasses. Really thick and heavy like the simple additions pieces. That would make me happy!
Also, I second the baby mini scraper idea, I have a non-pc one that I use all the time and it is also perfect for filling the decorator bottles!
Well, that's it for now :D

do?

CONGRATS ON BECOMING A DIRECTOR!!!

I want a new lid for the rectangle chillzanne! I have to use a rubberband to hold the lid in place when traveling (and same for the discontinued DDB and rectangle lids)! Unless I strap it into my insulated tote- love it!!I emailed HO the day that I got the new catty and saw the pic of the tote with the rectangle baker lid on... they didnt say much!Does anyone know if the new heavy duty stainless mixing bowl lid from the host special is being shipped with the stainless set now? If yes, I would buy replacement lids so that mine are all that thick!

I love that idea. My prep bowls are nice but I do frequently need something larger.

Thanks so much!

Okay, I just had an epiffany (sp?) about Simple Additions. What we need is a large round platter that is big enough in the middle to turn out a cake from the Family Skillet On the outside area, it should be the same as the dessert plates! Can you imagine the order of a Family Skillet, Dessert Plates and the new Round Platter? What do you all think?

Great Idea!!!

I like that idea! That would tie the dessert plates & platter together!

I had someone at my show last Saturday who wanted black simple additions bowls. I think it would be nice to have a variety of colors of the bowls and platters that people could pick out and match together. I think I would sell more simple additions that way.

I like the round platter matching the dessert plates idea.

I want a knife block too!

I know quite a few people who have black & stainless steel kitchens.

I also want the colored SA bowls to be for sale individually. I have several people who'd like 2 eggplant bowls or 2 cranberry ones.

I agree about the bowls. I have many people who want to put two same-colored ones in the small bowl caddy.

a knife block would be great. I've had people say they'd buy the set of forged cutlery if there were a block for them!

Definitely bring back the oven mitts!

I'd also like to see a smaller serrated knife. Something along a 5-6" length. I have one by another manufacturer, and use it ALL the time for tomatoes, bagels and such. A lot easier to use than the long one they have.

I like the idea of the cutlery block someone mentioned. But I don't see that coming any time soon.

And 'butter bells' are great! I have one. Growing up we had something similar on the farm. Nothing better than softened butter to put on your toast. (And REAL cream for your coffee!! Ah.... the memories)

I agree about the serrated bread knife. My MIL has been saying since I started how much she would love one for tomatoes. I didn't even think about it for bagels. That would be great. Even baguettes would be good with a smaller knife.
