What can I donate for the casino night auction?

In summary, my sister is organizing a casino night and auction and is looking into what guidelines there are for donating. I have some items that I can donate, but I'm not sure what to do about the event next week. I think the large bowl with some spices and a catalog would be a good idea, or the loaf pan and beer bread with a discount coupon. I also think it would be a good idea to promote the HWC items I already have, like the bamboo bowl and the Season's Best.

My sister just invited me to a casino night that has an auction. She looking into seeing what the guidelines for donating are but I would have to come up with something around my office because the event is next week! Here are the items I have, any good combinations/suggestions?

Large Bamboo Bowl
Thai Peanut Sauce
Grill Tray
Silicone Grill Brush
Metal Loaf Pan
Stainless Steamer
Mega Scraper
Small Quik-Stir Pitcher
Beer Bread Mix
Some random spices and seasonings

I do also have some reusable bags that I could put stuff in. My first thought was the large bowl with some spices and seasonings plus a catalog and upcoming host specials. Or the loaf pan and beer bread (cheaper) with a discount coupon. My other thought was to promote the HWC items, I earned those and wouldn't mind using them in the door prize (minus the martini glasses). Wish I had more time!

bumping for the morning crowd.

My 1st thought was also the bamboo bowl and the spices and peanut sauce ;), catalog and specials. :)

Or I DO LOVE The HWC stuff! ;)

Do a personal Gift Certificate redeemable only with YOU! That way, they can get what they want and odds are, they will probably spend MORE! :D

You can then choose to do it as commissionable sales in their name, or on your Kit Enhancement in April (to make it cheaper) and give them a gift receipt. ;)

I was going to add a little something extra like a 10% discount and free kitchen show. I have these products laying around my house so I figured it would be a good way to get rid of them without spending money out of my pocket.

I too have a casino night this weekend that I donated for. I never give products (at least as the main prize) because the chances of people contacting you for more is slim. I give a gift certificate that will double if they host. This year I also included a Season's Best, a bamboo spreader with a card attached that said something like, "Spreading yourself thin? Contact me to learn how to earn extra money with a flexible schedule." I also put in the specials for April and May along with a catalog. *I love the 10% discount idea-do you do that for a year, like a PHD?

Good idea, maybe I'll just do a couple small items with a coupon. If I did the 10% I would just offer it as a 1 time deal.

1. What is a "Casino Night Auction"?

A Casino Night Auction is a fundraising event where guests can bid on various items and experiences, similar to a traditional auction, but with a casino theme. Attendees can purchase tickets or chips to use for bidding on items, and all proceeds go towards a chosen cause or charity.

2. How does the auction work?

Guests can purchase tickets or chips to use for bidding on items. The auction items are usually on display, and guests can move around the room to view and bid on their desired items. The highest bidder at the end of the auction wins the item.

3. What types of items are typically auctioned off?

The items can vary, but they are usually donated by individuals or businesses. Some common items include gift baskets, gift cards, vacation packages, sports memorabilia, and unique experiences such as cooking classes or spa days.

4. Can anyone attend the auction?

Yes, anyone can attend the auction. However, some events may require purchasing a ticket or having an invitation to enter. It's best to check with the event organizers for any specific requirements.

5. Is there a dress code for the event?

The dress code can vary depending on the event, but it's usually recommended to dress in semi-formal or cocktail attire. It's always a good idea to check with the event organizers for any specific dress code guidelines.
