on One day. What do I do?
I have NEVER had 2 in one day!!!!
On the 3rd of Feb. I have one @ 11 am and then @ 2 pm.
Ideas on what to make, I'll have to do the first one fast. Should I move it to 10 am?
What do you think????
 
that's pushin it girl! That would mean that you would need to get in 1030ish, do your show, get out by 1 to get to next house and set up for 2pm. YOU"RE BRAVE!!! :0)
 
I would try to push the afternoon show to 3 or 4. Is that possible? The way you have your going to have to run a marathon!
 
You are going to have a blast adding up the sales from THAT day! Congrats!
 
I would either try to push one up or one back, or make the first one a no-cook show if possible. Have a dish ready that you can just stick in the oven at the hosts house and then let everyone eat while you do the cucumber or potato demo.

Well, the first one will be at my house. My host opted to have it done at my house (which I am TOTALLY fine with)
Then the 2nd is like 5 blocks away.
I will definately be running!!!!

I have been fighting for shows, I hope this will break the rut!!!
It will be w/ 2 people that I haven't had a show with, nor thier friends, KWIM?
 
At least you won't have to clean up your own house, just wash your tools and go!

How many shows do you have booked? Blow some my way too!!!
 
Can you combine them at your house? Do a mega show of sorts?
 
Another idea would be to make different recipes making sure that they used different products and setting up at host #2's house before your first show - if that is an option.
 
Have a tote with paperwork and stuff for the second show already in the car, and any tools that you don't actually need for the first demo (or duplicates, if you have any).Good luck! I hope you have a GREAT day!
 
I do 2 shows almost every saturday and have done 3 before. I would move the afternoon one to 3pm. that makes it a good time because you have enough time between them to get there but not so much that you are just waiting to leave.
 
I wish I had 2 shows to do every Sat!!!

WOW!! I would listen to dollfang's advice - sounds like she knows what she is talking about regarding this matter...

I would do the same recipe at both - by the time oyu get to #2 - you will be primed to do the recipe flawlessly!

two in one dayNot sure if what I have to say would be much help being as I have just started my business however my family did having a catering business for many years with similar situations. It might be fun to move the first show to 10am and make a brunch recipe. The host could serve OJ and coffee. I think it would be great fun! I hope I get the chance to schedule a morning show in the future.
 
I was thinking what Gina said; to do the same recipes if possible, then you don't have to get out different products & you're really prepared for the second show.
I would also try to move the 2nd one an hour later; just explain to that host the situation. I've had to do that before; people will understand & want to help. I also have 2 shows on Feb 10, one at 10:30 & one at 3; here's to us both having successful days:)
 
Thank you for posting this question. I have often thought about scheduling 2 shows in one day but wasn't sure if it was possible. I guess now it is if they are scheduled correctly.
 
I've been trying to get my Saturdays to have 2 shows.... so nice to have a goal of 2 shows a week and get them both done on the same day!!! lol

This week I'm insane, though! I'm doing a show at my little sis' place, which is a 3 hour drive (providing we have good weather and I can actually drive the speed limit!). That is Friday night at 7 (I'll leave here when I finish at my "other, other, other job" (I have a few jobs! lol) at 1... that will give me time to get there and visit with sis for awhile before her show.). I'll stay overnight at her place, and have to leave there no later than 9am because I have a show back here again on Saturday at 2! I *am* making the same recipe at both shows, so I won't have to re-pack. And I'll bring enough guest folders for both shows so I won't have to reload, either.


And BOTH hosts are expecting at least 10 guests! WOOHOO!!!!!

Kate--I think this is the best idea! Especially since the second one is only 5 blocks away. If she had both at her house at the same time then that would be a little less stressful for her and the second host. Also, you have more products to show at home than you would bring to a party so it benefits your guests too.

Good luck! I often do 2 in one day and it can be stressful, but the tips that were shared will help you a lot! Doing a different recipe so your products could be packed for show 2 will definitely help! Having a second set of paperwork already ready to go will be smart as well.

Well thanks for all the tips.
I think that I am going to do a brunch show and show off the Quick Stir Picture w/ either the PC Tea or some juice.
Then a little something on a stone.

Then at the afternoon show I will do something on a stone and something else, still not sure. I am actually on the phone w/ the host now :D
We will see what she wants.
