I just watched the people on the Today show trying to use different tools to open those plastic packages that electronics come in, including the i-Slice. Too bad the i-Slice didn't do very well - but I really don't think she was using it properly! Hopefully not too many customers were watching!

I saw that too! She was holding the package in her hand and trying to slice, instead of sitting the package on the table! They didn't have a good shot of the i-slice though, and they didn't even mention where you could get it or who it was made by!

I agree, it was a bit disappointing to see the i-Slice not perform well on live television. It seemed like they were struggling with it and not using it correctly, which could give viewers the wrong impression about the product. Hopefully, they will give it another chance and use it properly to showcase its true capabilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the i-Slice and how does it work?

The i-Slice is a handy kitchen tool designed to easily open plastic packages without the risk of cutting yourself. It features a small, retractable blade that safely slices through packaging materials, making it ideal for opening bags of snacks, frozen foods, and more. Simply slide the i-Slice along the edge of the package to create a clean cut.

Is the i-Slice safe to use?

Yes, the i-Slice is designed with safety in mind. Its blade is retractable, which means it only extends when pressure is applied. This feature helps prevent accidental cuts, making it a safer alternative to traditional knives or scissors for opening packages.

Can the i-Slice be used on all types of plastic packaging?

The i-Slice is effective on a wide variety of plastic packaging, including bags, wrappers, and clamshell containers. However, it may not be suitable for extremely thick or hard materials. Always use the tool as intended to ensure optimal performance.

How do I clean and maintain the i-Slice?

To clean the i-Slice, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth after use. Avoid submerging it in water, as this can damage the mechanism. Regularly check the blade for wear and replace it if necessary to maintain optimal cutting performance.

Where can I purchase the i-Slice?

The i-Slice can be purchased through various retailers, including online platforms and kitchenware stores. Additionally, you can find it at Pampered Chef parties or through their official website, where you can also explore other kitchen tools and gadgets.
