I have only had 1 catalog show, prior to this month. Since I just moved to a new province, I am reaching out to contacts where I used to live (actually all over the country), asking them for catalog shows. So far, I have about 6 for November.
So, the big question... What are your great tips for successful catalog shows??

1. Reach out to previous contacts and build relationships: It’s important to nurture relationships with past customers, as well as potential new customers. Reach out to your contacts and let them know about your upcoming catalog show. Ask them if they would be interested in participating or hosting a show. 2. Promote the event: Use social media, email, and other marketing strategies to promote your upcoming catalog show. Create a sense of urgency and excitement by offering discounts and special offers that are only available to guests at the show. 3. Prepare before the event: Make sure you have enough samples, brochures, and other materials to give away at the show. Also have a plan for taking orders, collecting payments, and shipping items after the show. 4. Follow up with customers: After the show is over, reach out to your customers to thank them for attending. Ask for feedback and encourage them to share their experiences with others.

1. Start with a strong invitation: When reaching out to potential hosts, make sure your invitation is compelling and clear. Highlight the benefits of hosting a catalog show, such as earning free products and discounts.2. Personalize your approach: Instead of sending a generic message to all your contacts, take the time to personalize each invitation. Mention something specific that you know about the person or why you think they would be a great host.3. Utilize social media: Use social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to promote your catalog show. Create a Facebook event and invite your friends and contacts. Share product photos and special offers on your social media pages.4. Offer incentives: Give your potential hosts an extra incentive to book a catalog show by offering a special discount or free gift. This can help motivate them to say yes to hosting.5. Provide plenty of catalogs and order forms: Make sure your hosts have enough catalogs and order forms to share with their friends and family. Include a few extra in case they need more.6. Follow up regularly: Keep in touch with your hosts leading up to the show. Send reminders and updates about special offers or new products. This will help keep them excited and engaged.7. Offer online ordering: Make it easy for guests to place their orders by providing online ordering options. This can also help reach those who may not be able to attend the show in person.8. Share success stories: Share success stories from past catalog shows with your potential hosts. This can help them see the potential for their own show and get them excited about hosting.9. Provide excellent customer service: Make sure to provide excellent customer service to your hosts and their guests. Respond promptly to any questions or concerns and make sure orders are processed and delivered in a timely manner.10. Follow up after the show: After the show, make sure to follow up with your host and guests. Thank them for their support and offer any post-show deals or promotions to encourage future orders.
