Ohhh... That's really good too and would work just as well in the DCB.pchefgagnon said:I have an awesome dump cake recipe from my mother. I have never used the deep covered baker to make it, but I'm sure it would turn out well..
1 can cherry pie filliing
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 cake mix
2 sticks of butter
dump the cherry pie filling in the pan, then add the crushed pineapple. Spread it over the pan. Sprinkle the cake mix over the fillings. Then cut pieces of butter and place on top of cake mix. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until butter is melted and cake topping starts to brown.

A DCB Dump Cake is a simple dessert made using the Pampered Chef Deep Covered Baker (DCB). It typically involves layering ingredients like cake mix, fruit, and other toppings in the DCB and baking it to create a delicious, gooey cake without the need for extensive mixing or preparation.
You can substitute eggs in a DCB Dump Cake by using alternatives such as applesauce, mashed bananas, or yogurt. Generally, 1/4 cup of applesauce or mashed banana can replace one egg, while 1/4 cup of yogurt can also serve as a good substitute.
For an eggless DCB Dump Cake, you will need a box of cake mix, fruit (like canned peaches or cherries), a substitute for eggs (such as applesauce or mashed bananas), and any additional toppings like nuts or chocolate chips. Make sure to check the cake mix for any egg-based ingredients if you are avoiding eggs entirely.
The baking time for an eggless DCB Dump Cake is generally the same as for a traditional recipe, which is about 40-50 minutes in the microwave or 50-60 minutes in the oven. However, it's important to check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean when the cake is fully baked.
Yes, you can use gluten-free cake mix to make a DCB Dump Cake without eggs. Just ensure that the other ingredients you use are also gluten-free, and follow the same instructions for substituting eggs with your chosen alternative.
