Ok, I still don't have my recipes for shows...my favs ya know. I just don't know what goes with what. What I should cook. I am just simply stumped. It seems soo simply, but I want to have some down and I just don't know what to do. Some seem so easy. I did the Ham Puffs. Very good, but very easy. I am good at the desserts, but don't have a main dish and don't really have the wow factor. Should I stick to just one.
I feel like I have asked this question over over, but please repeat over and over. My first big big show is coming up...so don't know what recipes to do or even to suggest. I don't know if I should have something easy ready or ............

Ok I am gona stop rambling and hope you might have some suggestions.:o

I would just do 1 recipe... I did 2 at my first few shows and my show was more of a workout than fun and it took forever! Crowds tend to love desserts, so stick to what you know and are good at. Also, everybody that has tasted the Touchdown Taco Dip has loved it. I have even made that before the show (for some family members' shows) and people liked the dip more than the recipe itself! Easy, cheap and a sure hit! Just my 2 cents... good luck! You will rock!

I do three, but it doesn't help with recruiting. Too much like work.
I do Tex Mex Chicken Melt (demos lots of products), Monkey bread to make everyone hungry with the smell of garlic and butter, and a caramel fudge skillet cake to show that the cookware goes in the oven.

I would just do 1 recipe as my adv director says, " I am here to sell products not food". Focus on selling the products. Which makes sense:)

Just remember - it is NOT about the recipes...it is about showing products...that's the most important thing to remember!!

I just do one that shows several different products. I'm really excited about trying the Quick Turkey Chili recipe. It sounds easy and that's always a big plus for me.

Yes that is my hard part about the products, so I am trying to pick the recipe that will sell the products. The Touch down Taco Dip...HMMMMM. Maybe that one?
Can I have the recipe for Monkey bread or is the that the pull aparts?

The Tomato Basil Squares are really yummy and show several products. I always get rave reviews when I make these!

For a Main Dish I would "cut my teeth" on the rings. Anyone who has been to a PC party before is familiar with these. They are yummy and so versatile! Once you feel comfortable with the rings start experimenting with other recipes. The Taco Ring shows cookware, stoneware, and if you put the "extras" in it Simple Additions. By extras I mean the guacamole, sour cream, salsa or more cheese.

I actually just had someone at a show say that she thought it was the best thing she'd ever eaten! (must not get out much was my thought!)
I make them in the large bar pan - and sell several bar pans everytime!
