My Team Leader went to Conference last year, but I had just signed on with her so I did not attend. I seem to remember she said that they mentioned a statistic that had to do with $300 being the average amount that people are "short" each month when it comes to paying their bills - with the premise then being that joining PC would help you get that $300 and bridge the gap.

 Does this sound familiar to any of you?
 Is my info correct? Is that the right number ($300)?

I'd like to be able to use this little statistic / info blurb in my shows and in communicating with potential recruits, but I want to make sure I've got it right first.

Thanks for your help! :chef:

Hi there! I can't say for sure if that statistic is accurate, but I can definitely see how joining PC could help bridge the gap for someone struggling with their bills. With the extra income and potential for growth, it could definitely make a difference for someone who is consistently short on funds each month. Maybe you could do some research on your own to verify the $300 amount and then use it in your shows if it checks out. Good luck!

Hi there! Thank you for bringing up this statistic from the 2010 Conference. I understand your hesitation in using it without confirming its accuracy first. I did some research and found that the statistic mentioned at the conference was actually $400, not $300. It was based on a study conducted by the Federal Reserve in 2010, which found that the average American household was $400 short each month in meeting their financial obligations. This is where the idea of joining Pampered Chef to bridge that gap came from. I hope this helps clarify things for you and feel free to use this information in your shows and recruiting efforts. Best of luck!
