I basically got the script from here (so I can't really take the credit) and adapted it to me...I wanted something to have in front of me in case I got nervous and forgot what to say, but I ended up not needing it as much as I thought I would...the first part is for when I actually got a live person on the phone. Then I put the specials on there in case someone wanted to know what they were...then the bottom was for answering machines (which I got A LOT of!)
Whoops...almost forgot the script...

I havent' done this yet... but I am thinking I should try it out and see how it works for me!!

Thanks for the great idea! I am going to do this tomorrow and see how it goes!

I'm confused - are you actually entering them into a $1000 drawing - or are you using that to get bookings?

Okay, so I tried this and I only got one booking! Hopefully it turns into more bookings at her show though. I hope that I at least make $100 commission on the show to break even! It got me to make some calls though which I have been avoiding doing, so that's good.

It's a drawing for a $100 shopping spree, not $1000.

Ok - I can't read! LOL Thanks!

So you do this $100 shopping spree at our cost?

You basically take so much out of each commission check to cover the cost?

Thanks, just want to understand what I am offering before I offer anything like this. :D

Kelly

I had a $100 commission check that I knew was coming, so I did the drawing and the winner will have $100 to spend, on me, at their show, in addition to the Free and Half-Price items.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the "24 Bookings in 24 Hours" challenge?

The "24 Bookings in 24 Hours" challenge is a direct sales strategy designed to help consultants secure bookings for parties or events within a single day. The goal is to reach out to potential hosts and schedule as many parties as possible in a 24-hour period, leveraging urgency and excitement to fill the calendar.

How can I prepare for the "24 Bookings in 24 Hours" challenge?

Preparation is key for success in this challenge. Start by compiling a list of potential hosts, including friends, family, and acquaintances. Create a script or outline for your conversations, and gather any promotional materials or incentives you may want to offer. Setting a specific time frame and creating a supportive environment can also help you stay focused and motivated.

What types of incentives can I offer to encourage bookings?

Incentives can vary widely, but popular options include discounts on future purchases, free products for hosts, or exclusive access to new items. You might also consider offering a small gift or a raffle entry for those who book a party during the challenge. The key is to make the offer appealing and relevant to your audience.

What should I do if I don't reach 24 bookings?

It's important to remember that the goal of the challenge is to push yourself and increase your bookings, not necessarily to hit the exact number. If you don't reach 24 bookings, reflect on what worked and what didn't, and use that insight to improve your approach in the future. Celebrate the bookings you did secure and consider this challenge a learning experience.

How can I follow up with potential hosts after the challenge?

Following up is crucial for maintaining interest and securing bookings. Send a thank-you message to everyone you contacted, regardless of their response. For those who showed interest but didn't book, consider reaching out again with a friendly reminder or a new incentive. Keep the conversation going by sharing updates about your business or upcoming promotions that may spark their interest.
