BUT they LOVED the salsa and the trifle!! This was the first trifle I ever made, so I am definitely going to do that again!! It was easy and fabulous!!
But I am bummed about theshow outcome. Oh well. Ya win some, ya lose some, right?
One option is to make a simple fruit salad with seasonal fruits. You can also use frozen fruits to save money. Another idea is to make a box cake mix and add some creative toppings, such as whipped cream and sprinkles, to make it more special.
A no-bake option is always a great choice for a quick and easy dessert. You can make a delicious no-bake cheesecake by mixing cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract, and pouring it into a pre-made graham cracker crust. Chill in the fridge for a couple of hours and top with your favorite fruit before serving.
A fruit crisp is a perfect option for those with limited baking skills. Simply mix together your choice of fruits, such as apples or berries, and top with a mixture of oats, butter, and brown sugar. Bake for 30 minutes and serve with a scoop of ice cream for a delicious and easy dessert.
A parfait made with layers of yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit is a quick and healthy dessert option. You can also try making a fruit sorbet by blending frozen fruits with a splash of juice or milk. Serve in individual cups for a fun and healthy treat.
A flourless chocolate cake is a great option for those with gluten-free dietary restrictions. Simply melt together chocolate and butter, mix in sugar, eggs, and cocoa powder, and bake for 25 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or fresh berries for a delicious and quick dessert.
