Has anyone else had problems with the Adjustable Tiered Tower?

I have a customer who had problems getting the large plate to fit. The screw wouldn't fit through the hole in the plate. PC sent a new one. Now the new one has a problem with the middle plate. She even tried to mix the pieces from the 2 sets, but nothing works. She says it's like fitting a square peg in a round hole. Now, of course, she wants a refund. Anyone have this issue?

I had that problem too, but my replacement worked, I too, mixed and matched before I sent the original back. In the end, mine now works...:chef:

Sounds like a defect to me.

yep one host of mine took 3 tries to get one to fit

Yep, just did a refund request for a customer yesterday.

It just seems weird to get 2 defects in a row! Luckily, the customer has a great attitude (she's a friend of my sister). We've nicknamed it the Adjustable Tower of Terror. :) Thanks for the replies! I feel better, I guess, to know it's just not "my luck".

Frequently Asked Questions

What are common issues with the Adjustable Tiered Tower?

Common issues with the Adjustable Tiered Tower include instability when fully loaded, difficulty in adjusting the tiers, and problems with the locking mechanism that holds the tiers in place. Users may also experience difficulty in cleaning the tower if food gets stuck in the crevices.

How can I fix instability in the Adjustable Tiered Tower?

If the tower is unstable, ensure that all tiers are securely locked in place and that the base is on a flat surface. Distributing weight evenly across the tiers can also help maintain stability. If the problem persists, check for any damage or wear on the locking mechanisms.

What should I do if I can't adjust the tiers?

If you're having trouble adjusting the tiers, first ensure that the locking mechanism is not jammed with food debris. Clean the joints and try again. If the issue continues, check for any signs of damage or misalignment that may be preventing smooth adjustment.

How do I clean the Adjustable Tiered Tower?

To clean the Adjustable Tiered Tower, disassemble it completely and wash each part with warm, soapy water. For stubborn stains, a soft sponge or cloth can be used. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dried before reassembling.

What should I do if the locking mechanism is broken?

If the locking mechanism is broken, first check if it can be repaired or if any parts can be replaced. If the damage is severe, contact Pampered Chef customer service for assistance or to inquire about warranty options. They may offer a replacement or repair service depending on the situation.
