I'd like to ask for prayers for a friend of mine. Her husbnad returned yesterday after having been in Korea for year (he's in the Air Force) and the first 24 hours have been very rocky. Adding to the tensions of getting readjusted to family life is the fact that they are moving to Germany at the end of the week so he has to deal with final packing and inspections as well as settling back into family life.

Prayer said, I wish them well!

Several tough adjustments at once. I'll be praying.

Wow, some real major adjustments. Prayers will be with your friend and her family.

Those are the things about military life that we as civilians don't think about or often even know of. Thanks for the heads up. Expectations and reality rarely meet but God can blend them into life. I pray that this family can find that blend quickly as they transition so much.

Thinking of your friend & her family. BTW, we're stationed in Germany as well. Where will your friend be here? Maybe we can get together. :)

Just wanted to update everyone. Thanks for all of the prayers! Things got much better after the first 24 hours and they are much happier now.

That's great news. I'll be hoping that things continue to go well and they adjust to all that's going on.
