I'm having my first show this afternoon since I broke my leg in two places in March. I'm still on a walker - so wish me luck and say a prayer for good success. I really need some bookings! The Host already has about $130 in Outside Sales! With about 7 people expected to show. We're making the Creamy One-Pot Pasta :)

Trish, best of luck! I'd say "break a leg" but you're WAY ahead of me on that one! :) Just remind people that you don't have to be well to be a pampered chef and prove that our kitchen items make it easy for those that are impaired by an injury to still put a delicious meal on the table.

I was going to end with "knock 'em dead" but she seems to take those success cliche's a little too literally and well, we don't need guests at her shows dropping like flies now, do we?;)

Okay, guys! Enough ribbing me! I did "break a leg" on this one! Your good thoughts and prayers really worked.

I thought it outstanding that my Host had several people place $100 orders!:sing: She is standing at a $616 Show right now and has yet to order any of the things she wants. Plus, a couple of "maybe" bookings I can work on! Hooray!

Anyway, I feel good about it, since it wasn't one of my best "performances"!

Great news! I moved to a cane today -- and got a catty show at the same time! Trying out canes in the pharmacy, one of the pharmacy techs who advised me about the canes has decided to do a catty show for a friend who is getting married!:D

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a prayer for my first Pampered Chef show after my leg break?

A prayer for your first show after a leg break can be a simple request for strength, healing, and support. You might say something like, "Dear God, please grant me the strength to share my passion for Pampered Chef, the healing to continue my recovery, and the support of my friends and family as I embark on this new journey." This can help center your thoughts and bring peace as you prepare for your show.

How can I prepare for my first show after my injury?

Preparation is key, especially after an injury. Make sure to plan your menu and recipes in advance, practice your presentation while seated if necessary, and consider asking a friend or fellow consultant to assist you during the show. This way, you can focus on engaging with your guests while ensuring everything runs smoothly.

What should I do if I feel nervous about hosting my first show?

Feeling nervous is completely normal, especially after an injury. To ease your nerves, practice your presentation multiple times, visualize a successful show, and remind yourself of the support you have from friends and family. You can also incorporate calming techniques, such as deep breathing or prayer, to help ground yourself before the event.

Can I still host a successful show while recovering?

Absolutely! Many successful consultants have hosted shows while managing injuries or other challenges. Focus on your strengths, such as your knowledge of the products and your ability to connect with guests. Use your recovery as a story to inspire others and show that perseverance is key in both business and life.

How can I involve my guests in my first show after my leg break?

Engaging your guests can make your show more interactive and enjoyable. Consider involving them in the cooking process by asking for volunteers to help with simple tasks or sharing their own experiences with Pampered Chef products.
