I have a customer that uses the pizza stone all the time just to make a small pizza on it. The center of the stone and exactly the shape of the pizza is not turning colors - seasoning. But the outter edge of the stone is turning dark brown. I thought that the stones cooked evenly so I don't understand why the center is not changing color.
Could it be because she never put oil on it when she first started using it?
