Ok, I couldn't figure out how to make a poll so I will just post this. I am filling out my holiday post cards for past hosts and prefered guests. My question is, should I use my stamp that has all of my info on it or just sign them? I am leaning towards the stamp because there are so many of them and I have carpal tunnel and my hands hurt when I write. What is your opinion?

I do both... Stamp with all my info and then sign for a personal touch. That's just what I do...

I agree I would stamp and sign

I used the holiday cards from Merrill and just wrote a generic message and included my business card.

Here are mine, you can alter them in any way (and change the name of course!).

I had over 75 to send out, and put a little hand written message in the top corner (to one of my very special 2006 hosts!).

Happy Holidays!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between stamping and signing holiday postcards?

Stamping involves using a pre-made stamp to imprint a message or design on the postcard, while signing means personally writing your name or a message by hand. Stamping can save time and ensure uniformity, while signing adds a personal touch.

Which option is more personal: stamping or signing?

Signing is generally considered more personal because it involves your handwriting, which can convey warmth and sincerity. Recipients often appreciate the effort of a handwritten note, making it feel more special than a stamped message.

Can I combine both stamping and signing on my holiday postcards?

Absolutely! Many people choose to stamp a festive design or message on the postcard and then sign their name by hand. This combination allows you to save time while still adding a personal touch.

What are the benefits of using a stamp for holiday postcards?

Using a stamp can be efficient for sending out a large number of postcards, ensuring consistency in your message or design. It also allows for creative designs that can enhance the overall look of your postcards without the time commitment of writing each one by hand.

Are there any tips for choosing the right stamp for my holiday postcards?

When selecting a stamp, consider the theme of your holiday postcards and the message you want to convey. Look for designs that complement your postcard's colors and style. Additionally, ensure that the stamp is of good quality to avoid smudging and that it fits well within the space available on the postcard.
