My hospitality director uses a broken stone at her shows to show that the stuff on the outside does NOT absorb into the inside. The inside is perfectly colored like a new stone, but the outside was BLACK!! So you can use that in your shows! Just get a managable piece so you don't hurt yourself. But she would say that what is on the outside is not absorbed by the stones, so you don't have to worry about the raw meat, etc or grease absorbing into your stones. I loved that idea!

If your Large Round Stone has broken, it's important to assess the damage. If the breakage is minor and does not affect the usability, you may still be able to use it with caution. However, if the stone is in pieces or has significant cracks, it's best to discontinue use to avoid injury.
The Pampered Chef Large Round Stone typically comes with a warranty that lasts for a limited time. Since yours has lasted 7 years, it is likely out of warranty. However, you can check with Pampered Chef customer service for specific details regarding your product and any possible options for replacement or repair.
While Pampered Chef does not generally offer replacements for items that are out of warranty, you can contact their customer service to inquire about any available options. They may offer discounts on new purchases or have a customer loyalty program that could assist you.
To prevent future breakage, avoid extreme temperature changes, such as placing a hot stone directly into cold water. Always use the stone according to the care instructions provided, and avoid using metal utensils that could scratch or weaken the surface.
To care for your Pampered Chef stoneware, avoid using soap or detergent when cleaning, as it can absorb odors and flavors. Instead, use hot water and a scraper to remove food residue. Allow the stone to cool before washing, and always store it in a dry place to prevent moisture buildup.
