I just had to pat myself on the back a little - sorry :)

I did my first Open House on Saturday with Mary Kay, Lia Sophia, Creative Memories and Stampin' Up! and it went really well!
It was at the CM consultant's home and they had one last year, but this year I was asked to join.

I go over $350 in orders and everyone raved about the food (mini ham puffs, Caprece (sp?) pizza, cranberry bark and truffle brownie cups). I didn't get any bookings, but I got 10 new customers/leads!

I'm already looking forward to next year's OH!

Woo hoo! I'm happy for you!

Do you happen to still have the flier? I am looking to do a multi-vendor botique and am not feeling very creative at the moment!!

Thanks!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do to follow up after my successful open house?

Following up is crucial to maintaining the momentum from your open house. Reach out to all attendees with a thank-you message, expressing your appreciation for their participation. You can also send them a recap of the event, share any special offers, and invite them to place orders or host their own parties. Personalizing your messages can help strengthen your relationship with potential customers.

How can I leverage my open house success for future events?

Use the positive feedback and experiences from your first open house to promote future events. Share photos and testimonials on social media, and consider creating a newsletter to keep your audience informed about upcoming gatherings. You can also ask attendees if they would be interested in hosting their own parties, which can help expand your customer base.

What are some effective ways to increase sales from my open house?

To boost sales, consider offering exclusive discounts or promotions for attendees who place orders during or shortly after the event. Additionally, showcase popular products and demonstrate their use, as hands-on experiences can encourage purchases. Providing a limited-time offer can create a sense of urgency, prompting attendees to buy on the spot.

How can I gather feedback from my guests after the open house?

Gathering feedback can help you improve future events. You can create a simple survey using online tools or send a follow-up email with a few questions about their experience. Ask what they liked, what could be improved, and if they have any product suggestions. This feedback can provide valuable insights and help you tailor your future open houses to better meet your guests' needs.

What should I do if I didn't achieve my sales goals at the open house?

If you didn't meet your sales goals, don't be discouraged. Analyze what may have contributed to the outcome, such as product selection, pricing, or marketing strategies. Consider reaching out to guests for feedback and use this information to adjust your approach for future events. Focus on building relationships and providing value, as these can lead to sales over time, even if they don't happen immediately.
