Chef Kearns said:I would do several (like 10) Pampering business show attempts a week. I don't like to go in blind, so I would take a day or so to scope them all out first. Ask the person who seems to have a handle on the office, "How many people work here?" "Do you think your office would like to have a free desserts and shop a Pampered Chef catalog?" Stuff like that. That way you know if they are interested and where you need to visit the next day to drop off a dessert and catalogs. Then give them a week and pick up the orders. Make sure everyone knows they can keep the book. People can still shop and make lists from old catalogs!
I thought I had seen some replies in those threads, Sal.salthechef said:Help please! I have been asking on a few threads, What is "pampering a buisness??" I'm trying to do some different things, and this sounds interesting. Can anyone explain?
Consider using seasonal decorations to enhance your display. Incorporate autumn-themed tablecloths, centerpieces, and props that align with fall cooking themes. You can also create a cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and scents, making your display inviting and encouraging guests to browse the catalog.
Offer incentives for guests who take a catalog home, such as a small discount on their next order or entry into a raffle for a Pampered Chef product. Additionally, ensure that your catalogs are easy to take with them by providing clear instructions on how to place orders or contact you for questions.
During your cooking demonstrations, refer to specific products in the catalog that you are using. Highlight their features and benefits, and show how they can simplify fall cooking. You can also pass around the catalog for guests to see the full range of products while you demonstrate, making it easier for them to visualize how they can use the items at home.
Add personal notes or recommendations in your catalogs based on your guests' interests or dietary preferences. You can also include a few of your favorite fall recipes that utilize Pampered Chef products, making the catalog feel more tailored and engaging for your audience.
After the show, reach out to attendees with a thank-you message and a reminder of the catalog. You can also share additional recipes or tips related to the products they showed interest in. Consider hosting a virtual follow-up event where you can showcase more products and answer any questions, keeping the excitement alive and encouraging orders.
