What message do you leave if you get a machine when doing follow up calls from a booth?

I'd be glad to talk with you about that. Feel free to call me. My number is [phone number]. If I don't hear back from you in a day or to I'll try again.

Rae,
Thanks for your help :)

And if you reach them in person, what do you say? I visited 2 Elementary Schools this spring and want to make follow up calls, especially since the teachers are home-or at least not teaching. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Suzy in Texas

Basically I say the same thing without leaving the contact info.

Do you follow the day/evening phone check? It's easier for me to call during the afternoon than the evening....I just called a guy (knew it was his cell phone) and caught him in the middle of a job. He told me that he does handy work and his hours always change but he marked his phone as evening. Asked if there was a better time to chat and he said he'd be done and home around 5. Ugh, this day is not going well for me!!!

when I end my voice mails.. I always say ".... and have a Pampered day!"

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I say when leaving a message after a follow-up call from a booth?

When leaving a message, introduce yourself and mention where you met the person, such as the booth event. Briefly remind them of the products or services you discussed and express your enthusiasm about helping them. Invite them to call you back or visit your website for more information.

How long should I wait before following up with someone after they visit my booth?

It's best to follow up within 48 hours after the event. This keeps the interaction fresh in their mind and shows your eagerness to connect. If you don't reach them, consider leaving a message and following up again in a week.

What if I don’t get a response after leaving a message?

If you don’t receive a response, don’t be discouraged. People can be busy or may not have had the chance to listen to your message. Wait a week and try reaching out again. You can also try different methods of communication, such as email or social media, if you have that information.

How can I make my follow-up calls more effective?

To make your follow-up calls more effective, prepare a script that includes key points you want to cover. Be friendly and personable, and ask open-ended questions to engage the person in conversation. Tailor your message based on their interests expressed during the booth visit.

Is it appropriate to leave a promotional offer in my message?

Yes, including a promotional offer can be a great way to entice potential customers. Just make sure to keep it relevant to the conversation you had at the booth. Clearly state the offer and any expiration dates to create a sense of urgency.
