I'm Kicking off my very first Fundraiser tomorrow and I'm really nervous b/c I want them to do well. The Fundraiser is for the sorority that I am and Alumna of and the girls will have their packets during their Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. I'm planning on turning it in as a January show so fingers crossed they will make a ton of money and I'll earn the new Spring line!

Ohhh.....good idea! Best wishes! There is a fundraiser thread that gives some specifics how much can be submitted without pre-approval from the home office about payments. You might want to search it, just to be sure or someone might remember the details?

I hope it goes well for you!

I'm a little worried because a lot of the girls are out of state and I'm not sure how much support they will get. I'm also worried because I don't want to come off as pushy or annoying. Any advice or tips on how to make this a successful fundraiser?1. Start promoting early: Reach out to the members of your sorority well in advance and let them know about the fundraiser. This will give them time to plan and budget for their purchases.2. Utilize social media: Use social media platforms to promote the fundraiser and create a buzz around it. You can create a Facebook event, post about it on Instagram, and even send out a mass email to all members.3. Offer incentives: Consider offering incentives for those who participate in the fundraiser. This could be a discount on their next purchase or a special gift for reaching a certain sales goal.4. Get creative with your marketing: Think outside the box when it comes to promoting the fundraiser. You could create a fun video, host a virtual fashion show, or even have a themed event to get people excited about the products.5. Share your personal experience: Share your own personal experience with the products and why you love them. This will make the fundraiser more personal and authentic, and people are more likely to support something that they know you are passionate about.6. Make it easy for people to participate: Make sure the process for ordering and paying for products is simple and easy for everyone. Consider setting up an online ordering system or offering multiple payment options.7. Keep the communication open: Stay in touch with the members of your sorority throughout the fundraiser. Send out reminders, answer any questions they may have, and keep them updated on the progress of the fundraiser.8. Thank and recognize participants: After the fundraiser is over, make sure to thank everyone who participated and recognize those who went above and beyond. This will show your appreciation and encourage participation in future fundraisers.9. Stay positive and enthusiastic: Your attitude and energy will play a big role in the success of the fundraiser. Stay positive and enthusiastic, and people will be more likely to support your cause.10. Don't be afraid to ask for help: Don't be afraid to reach out to other members of the sorority for help. This can be a team effort, and having more people involved can help make the fundraiser even more successful.
